Abstract Background One noteworthy concern within the realm of education is level engagement demonstrated by students. Among factor that can have a crucial role in this domain teacher support, especially emotional support which has an impact on several aspects learners’ education. Furthermore, various studies investigated relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and engagement. Methods Accordingly, study possible trait EI teachers how these constructs may work to associate For objective, total 309 Chinese students across different colleges universities 5 provinces Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hubei, Shaanxi were enrolled. They 126 females 183 males, with ages ranging from 18 30 years old (Mean = 24.6). Results The results research through running Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) teachers’ both students’ learning final measurement model shows about 73% changes be associated their support. Conclusions This underscores importance relation learning. Both factors shown play significant associating student Moreover, could potentially wider impacts members academic teams.

Drawing on the control-value theory, this cross-cultural research inspected association between positive activating emotions, namely pride, hope, and enjoyment, academic engagement among Chinese Iranian EFL students. This study also looked into role of these emotions in predicting students' engagement. Using a maximum variation sampling technique, 346 353 students were chosen from various colleges universities. Afterward, an online survey was sent to participants via email common messaging apps. Following that, structural equation modelling confirmatory factor analysis conducted through AMOS software analyse participants' answers. The results obtained CFA SEM indicated that is closely related their feelings enjoyment. demonstrated enjoyment can meaningfully favourably predict Interestingly, no significant difference discovered measurement models. English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) learning is essential for Chinese senior high school students, but burnout can impair their engagement and performance. Resilience, however, enhance shield them from burnout. This mixed-methods study aimed to investigate the interplay between burnout, resilience, among 413 EFL learners. Using AMOS 24, quantitative analyses with structural equation modeling (SEM) revealed reciprocity these three constructs. Specifically, was negatively associated both resilience engagement, explaining 28.6% 33.3% of shared variance respectively. Besides, were positively correlated, sharing 70.6% variance. Qualitative semi-structured interviews 15 analyzed by MAXQDA 2022, supported this specifying role each component also discusses theoretical practical implications findings suggests directions future research.

Abstract Engagement plays an important role in students’ success learning. While learner engagement has been widely examined, the degree to which learners engage online learning and relationship between outcomes, particularly domain of second/foreign (L2) language learning, still remain under-explored. To bridge gap, this study examined college L2 English learners’ profiles their outcomes. A total 85 first-year students participated study. The results showed that is multidimensional, including behaviroral, cognitive, affective, social facets. Additionally, actual behavioral (e.g., task time completion rate) self-perceived behavioral, affective engagement) are significantly correlated. Nonetheless, among two levels measures, only score behavioural a positive predictor concludes with practical implications for teaching.

ABSTRACT Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy has come to the spotlight, empowering individuals adeptly navigate modern digitalised world. However, studies on teacher AI in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context remain limited. This study aims identify intraindividual differences and examine its associations with age years of teaching experience among 782 teachers. Given absence reliable instrument measure literacy, we first constructed validated scale encompassing five sub‐scales: Knowledge , Use Assessment Design Ethics . Subsequently, latent profile analysis (LPA) was conducted using Mplus 7.4, results revealing four distinct profiles: Poor (C1: 12.1%), Moderate (C2: 45.5%), Good (C3: 28.4%), Excellent (C4: 14.1%). Multinomial logistic regression analyses indicated significant between both experience. Additionally, 32 respondents participated semi‐structured interviews.
