There has been an increased interest in evaluating students’ learning experiences various academic domains. Some authors consider it important aspect of education to assess the effectiveness instructional methods, while others aim enhance quality teaching and learning. Various perspectives can be highlighted, as many articles refer experience its evaluation differently. However, few studies provide explicit dimension characterize it. Therefore, this study investigates how is described scientific literature, what criteria are used characterise learners’ experiences. Boredom, enjoyment, and emotion regulation among Chinese students majoring in dual foreign languages: a Q method study DOI

Research on emotion and language learning has gained broad attention; however, there is insufficient research students' negative emotions in LOTE-as-L3 classrooms, especially within multilingual contexts. To fill this gap, study examines the Chinese students majoring dual foreign languages exhibit English L3 courses, such as boredom, enjoyment, regulation. The Q method, which integrates qualitative quantitative approaches, was used to analyze a sample of 27 study. Retrospective interviews were conducted after data analysis gain more profound understanding. Multiple inverted factor analyses interview results identified three major attitudes among these students: balanced activity-induced low regulation ability. reveals that varying teaching methods, materials, activities result differing levels boredom other emotions. Abstract A wide variety of gamification tools are available for language learning; however, few studies have explored the impact Flippity‐Connecto (hereafter referred to as Connecto) on learners' cognitive and affective processes. Connecto, a game similar Tic‐Tac‐Toe, was designed assist students in learning English foreign (EFL). This study utilized Tic‐Tac‐Toe mechanism engage competitive vocabulary learning. Grounded achievement emotion model, this research examined relationships among interest, gameplay anxiety flow experience while played game. In single‐group quasi‐experimental study, sixth‐grade from an elementary school three times over period 3 weeks, followed by completion questionnaires. total 123 valid questionnaires were collected. The current study developed and validated a holistic domain-specific scale for measuring the second language (L2) learning experience within framework of L2 Motivational Self System. Underpinned by positive psychology theories, preliminary item pool was generated through combining insights from extant measurements, interviews with Chinese learners various L2s (e.g. Japanese, French, German, Spanish), as well literature motivation.
