Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is a classical medicinal and edible herb as well spice, but the physicochemical biological properties of its polysaccharides have not been fully studied. In this study, were extracted using an ultrasonic-assisted method purified from fresh coriander, then coriander polysaccharide (CSP) fraction was separated agarose gel Q-Sepharose Fast Flow column. The total sugar content, protein content monosaccharides composition CSPs determined phenol–sulfuric acid method, Coomassie Brilliant Blue HPLC. structural characterization detected ultraviolet spectrophotometry FT-IR spectroscopy. DPPH ABTS free radicals used to explore their antioxidant activities, while inhibitory abilities α-amylase α-glucosidase evaluate hypoglycemic activity. After that, immunomodulatory antitumor activities investigated macrophage RAW264.7 HepG2 cells targets. results showed that contents 66.90 ± 1.44% 1.06 0.32%, respectively. mainly composed fucose, rhamnose, arabinose, galactose, glucose, galacturonic glucuronic acid, with molar ratio 1.13:15.11:9.60:25.98:1.55:44.33:2.29, may be acidic heteropolysaccharide containing pyran rings, α- β-glycosidic bonds acid. Results in vitro experiments IC50 for scavenging 0.759 mg/mL 1.758 mg/mL, respectively; values inhibiting 0.634 2.178 concentration 25~200 μg/mL no obvious toxicity RAW264.7, when treated 100 CSPs, relative cell phagocytosis capacity secreted nitric oxide amount 153.75 12.01% 133.56 5.37%, concentration-dependent ability inhibit growth within test 0.25–2.0 mg/mL. Summarizing results, due excellent antioxidant, anti-tumor expected show good potential comprehensive development food medicine.

Gualou (Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim) and Xiebai (Allium macrostemon Bunge) have been extensively studied for their diverse active ingredients, which include flavonoids, polysaccharides, triterpenoids. This study employed a single-factor experiment alongside the Plackett-Burman design utilized response surface methodology to optimize ultrasonic-enzyme-assisted extraction (U-EAT) method functional components in (GLXB). The optimal conditions were identified as solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:11 g/mL, an alcohol concentration 55%, enzyme 1.2%, temperature 40°C. yields triterpenoids obtained 0.94 ± 0.05, 260.46 1.78, 118.69 0.71 mg/g, respectively, demonstrating increases 59.19%, 29.03%, 46.10% compared HL (HL, traditional reflux method). Furthermore, vitro digestion GLXB extract demonstrated significant lipid-lowering hypoglycemic effects. facilitated flocculation lipid droplets during exhibited capacity reduce rate fat digestion. These findings indicate that U-EAT significantly enhanced content ingredients improved activities extract, highlighting its potential further development application foods.

In this research, ultrasound-assisted enzymatic extraction of sugarcane peel polysaccharides and optimization process conditions were used to investigate their properties antioxidant activities. The effects liquid-material ratio, ultrasonic temperature, time, cellulase dosage on the rate SPP investigated by one-way experiments response surface analysis determine optimal conditions. Meanwhile, structural characterization (FT-IR NMR analyses) activity studies (DPPH hydroxyl radical scavenging rates) carried out total sugar content SPP. results showed that for method 40 mL/g 50 °C ultrasound min 5% enzyme dosage, yield was 5.38% 75.52% under these extracted some ability both DPPH radicals, 54.63% 33.91%, respectively, when mass concentration solution 4 mg/mL. present study demonstrated enzymes can effectively extract with activity, which provides a theoretical basis developing utilizing has potential application value.
