The present study utilized advanced psychometric methods (i.e., Rasch analysis and confirmatory factor [CFA]) to evaluate the structure of Multiple Intelligence Scale (MIS) its validity among Taiwanese older adults. A cross-sectional design using convenience sampling was conducted 200 community-dwelling participants aged 65 years or older. analyses showed that MIS had good unidimensionality. Among various CFA models testing structure, exploratory structural equation modelling performed best given parsimonious excellent fit indices. can be used adults in a culturally-fair way for understanding their multiple intelligences. Using MIS, healthcare providers could encourage people assess own strengths weaknesses intelligence. results suggest more research on adults' MI is needed tailor bespoke therapeutic programs individual needs community settings.

Abstract Increasing evidence indicates contact with nature supports mental, physical and social health. However, beyond a widely reported number of barriers to contact, the constellation motivations for human is under‐theorised under‐studied. We begin develop indicators autonomous controlled informed by self‐determination theory. These include intrinsic motivation (i.e. enjoyment), integrated regulation (alignment identify life goals), identified (a means an end), introjected (emotional reasons like guilt avoidance) external (such as peer pressure). compare these indices in nationally representative sample 5082 adults Australia 2022 Nature Relatedness Scale (NR6), also test associations between them five outcomes: time spent nature, smartphone use interest prescriptions, activity self‐rated Statistical analyses were adjusted potential confounding. Results demonstrate people have complex mixtures varying potency visiting natural settings extent which those motives are or matters what they do, benefits accrued.
