Abstract Nowadays, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are well established and considered excellent materials for performing selective extractions. However, with the progressive implementation of principles green chemistry, it is necessary to find greener alternatives both synthesis further use MIPs in sample preparation. Accordingly, present work, different deep eutectic solvents (DES, hydrophilic hydrophobic), as an alternative conventional organic (i.e., toluene), were evaluated porogens fibers (monoliths), using fused silica capillaries molds, solid-phase microextraction (SPME). From this study, polymer prepared propazine (dummy template), methacrylic acid (monomer), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (cross-linker), a formic acid:L-menthol (1:1) DES (porogen) showed best performance rebinding triazines. After optimization variables involved SPME, new successfully applied extraction target analytes (desisopropylatrazine, desethylatrazine, simazine, atrazine) from soil extracts, providing relative recoveries ranging 75.7 120.1%, reaching limits detection within range 6.2–15.7 ng g −1 , depending upon analyte.
