We herein present a green and mild photoredox strategy for constructing framework of benzannulated 6,5-spiroketal glycosides. This method employs various O-arylacetylene glycosides aryl ketone acids as the starting materials, facilitating rapid straightforward synthesis with up to 92% yields under catalytic conditions. efficient approach has potential significantly enhance molecular library carbohydrate-based pharmaceuticals.

A novel 5-exo-dig/6-endo-trig bicyclization of 1,6-enynes with sulfonyl hydrazides in the aqueous phase using cheap and available tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI)-tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) combined system is reported. The resulting reaction diverse nitrogen- oxygen-polyheterocycles displays high chemical selectivity, step-economy, a moderate substrate scope. Moreover, iodosulfonylation can be realized by modulating structure 1,6-enynes.

A visible-light-induced three-component reaction of 2-aryl indoles/benzimidazoles, Hantzsch esters, and sodium pyrosulfite through a radical cascade cyclization process with the insertion sulfur dioxide is described. It provides novel powerful way for synthesis alkylsulfonated isoquinolinones. esters Na2S2O5 are employed as alkyl precursors SO2 surrogate, respectively. This transformation exhibits good functional group tolerance substrate applicability under mild conditions.

Herein, this work describes a photoinduced visible light-mediated radical cyclization for constructing dihydrobenzofuran (DHB) scaffolds. Notably, cascade photochemical process is tolerable with various aromatic aldehydes and diverse alkynyl aryl ethers proceeds via an intramolecular 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) pathway. Significantly, acyl C-H activation under mild conditions has been achieved without the use of additives or reagents. The photocatalyst, tetrabutylammonium decatungstate (TBADT), plays important role in present strategy by facilitating well-known hydrogen during course reaction.
