A copper(I)-catalyzed protocol is developed for the synthesis of various 2,3-diaroylquinolines starting from achiral ammonium salts and anthranils through [4+1+1] annulation. Using copper(I) chloride as sole catalyst, this reaction featured with easily available materials, broad substrate scope, good yields simple conditions.

Abstract Gold catalysis has experienced remarkable progress over the past two decades, particularly in transformations involving alkynes. While numerous aspects of gold‐catalyzed reactions have been extensively reviewed, specific area cascade annulations between functionalized amines and alkynes represents a distinct rapidly developing direction that warrants focused attention. This survey collects systematically analyzes these transformations, which emerged as convenient synthetic strategies to diverse nitrogen heterocycles. The relevant are classified firstly by chemical nature amine functional substituent, secondly size formed ring. field under consideration bridges several fundamental practical branches chemistry, including catalysis, organic synthesis, medicinal materials science.

A novel electrochemical procedure for the one-pot synthesis of variously substituted 5-thiotetrazole has been established by a three-component reaction (thiol(thiophenol)s, isocyanides, and azidotrimethylsilane). This approach is achieved sulfidation isocyanide subsequent cycloaddition with azidotrimethylsilane under mild conditions without metal catalyst or external oxidant. Importantly, presented methodology not only features wide substrate scope but also exhibits practicality showcased gram-scale various conversions.

Abstract A copper‐catalyzed annulation of enaminones with maleimides was developed to synthesize various pyrrolo[3,4‐e]isoindoles. In this strategy, 2‐aminopyridine served as a traceless directing group, and target products were obtained in 54–72% yields. Moreover, plausible mechanism for reaction proposed based on several control experiments, deuterium exchange previous reports.
