Abstract Counterfeiting is a growing global issue causing severe negative impacts on the social economy and posing serious security threats to individuals communities. However, current anticounterfeiting technologies are relatively well known fakers lack sufficient owing development commercialization of high‐resolution equipment. Thus, designing new materials systems urgently needed. Photonic crystals (PCs) with vivid structural colors promising for advanced applications because their unique optical characteristics. In particular, responsive PCs (RPCs), whose signals can be readily adjusted by external stimuli, expected provide improved may used determine authenticity banknotes, documents, drugs. this review, strategies summarized RPCs, including filling into interstitial space periodic photonic structures using as construction blocks PCs. Subsequently, latest progress in developing RPCs constructed encryption information discussed detail. Finally, challenges outlook presented.

Abstract Flexible and skin‐mountable electronics have drawn tremendous research attention with the booming of smart medical systems wearing technologies, however, their environmental adaptability to electromagnetic solar radiation has long been neglected. Herein, a novel health monitoring e‐textile robust ultraviolet (UV) protecting strong interference (EMI) shielding performance is rationally developed on an ultraelastic bilayered nonwoven textile. Via respective incorporation silver flake‐modified liquid metal (AgLM) nanoparticles (AgNPs) each side permeable substrate, Janus sensing layer electrophysiological function, Joule heating ability, excellent EMI capability (up 38.5 dB in X band) first fabricated. Elastic microfibers embedded sensitive photochromic microcapsules are then situ assembled bioelectric‐sensing layer, achieving reversible UV‐chromic property extraordinary UV protection factor (UPF) 335.56. The all‐stretchable UV‐EMI proof utilized as safe comfortable on‐skin electronic provide point‐of‐care regulation under complex UV/EMI radiative environments. Specifically, stable accurate electrocardiogram (ECG) surface electromyography (sEMG) simultaneously obtained, demonstrating promising applications multifunctional electronics.

In this work, we developed inverse opal photonic crystals (IOPCs) for real-time identifiable labels by tuning the structure color and chemical under ultraviolet (UV) light near-infrared (NIR) light. We prepared IOPCs etching a silica crystal template in thermosensitive hydrogel added to 2,2-diphenyl-2H-naphtho [1,2-b] pyran-6-carbaldehyde (NP). way, transparent turned red UV due photochromic naphthopyran. Meanwhile, green of was superimposed with hydrogel, so that naphthopyran (IOPCs/NP) appeared yellow. When irradiated NIR light, blue from volume contraction hydrogel. simultaneously, IOPCs/NP would finally appear purple. Thus, realized controllable two sources. Based on this, designed series multiple colors which expanded application information anticounterfeiting identification.
