Time resolved in situ (TRIS) monitoring has revolutionised the study of mechanochemical transformations but been limited by available data quality. Here we report how a combination miniaturised grinding jars together with innovations X-ray powder diffraction collection and state-of-the-art analysis strategies transform power TRIS synchrotron experiments. Accurate phase compositions, comparable to those obtained ex measurements, can be small sample loadings. Moreover, microstructural parameters (crystal size microstrain) also determined high confidence. This strategy applies all chemistries, is readily implemented, yields high-quality even using low energy source. offers direct avenue towards investigation reactions comprising scarce, expensive, or toxic compounds. Cocrystal engineering is gaining interest across various disciplines since it can effectively tune the properties of solid substances via noncovalent synthesis by introducing new components into lattice. Mechanochemistry without a doubt most valuable tool for research cocrystals, which combines pursuit efficient and sustainable process pathways with exploration supramolecular synthons that cannot be discovered using solution methods. In this review, concerning significance mechanochemical we begin outlining strategies preparation cocrystals. We then elaborate on theoretical mechanisms mechanochemically induced formation cocrystals their polymorphs. Eugenol, the generic name of 4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol, is major component clove essential oil, and has demonstrated relevant biological potential with well-known antimicrobial antioxidant actions. New O-alkylated eugenol derivatives, bearing a propyl chain terminals like hydrogen, hydroxyl, ester, chlorine, carboxylic acid, were synthesized in present work.
