Intracranial aneurysm is the leading cause of nontraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage. Evaluating unstable (rupture and growth) risk aneurysms helpful to guild decision-making for unruptured intracranial (UIA). This study aimed develop a model stratification UIA instability. The patients from two prospective, longitudinal multicenter Chinese cohorts recruited January 2017 2022 were set as derivation cohort validation cohort. primary endpoint was instability, comprising rupture, growth, or morphology change, during 2-year follow-up. samples corresponding serums 20 also collected. Metabolomics cytokine profiling analysis performed on (758 single-UIA harboring 676 stable UIAs 82 UIAs). Oleic acid (OA), arachidonic (AA), interleukin 1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) significantly dysregulated between UIAs. OA AA exhibited same trends in tissues. feature selection process demonstrated size ratio, irregular shape, OA, AA, IL-1β, TNF-α features A machine-learning (instability classifier) constructed based radiological biomarkers, with high accuracy evaluate instability (area under curve (AUC), 0.94). Within (492 414 78 UIAs), classifier well (AUC, 0.89). Supplementation pharmacological inhibition IL-1β could prevent rupturing rat models. revealed markers provided model, which may guide treatment

Abstract The role of circulatory proteomics in osteoporosis is unclear. Proteome‐wide profiling holds the potential to offer mechanistic insights into osteoporosis. Serum proteome with 413 proteins was profiled by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) at baseline, and 2nd, 3rd follow‐ups (7704 person‐tests) prospective Chinese cohorts 9.8 follow‐up years: discovery cohort ( n = 1785) internal validation 1630). Bone mineral density (BMD) measured using dual‐energy X‐ray absorptiometry (DXA) 1 through 3 lumbar spine (LS) femoral neck (FN). We used Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM) identify (OP)‐related proteomic features. relationships between serum BMD two were estimated linear mixed‐effects model (LMM). Meta‐analysis then performed explore combined associations. identified 53 associated LightGBM, a meta‐analysis showed that 22 these illuminated significant correlation p < 0.05). most common among them PHLD, SAMP, PEDF, HPTR, APOA1, SHBG, CO6, A2MG, CBPN, RAIN APOD, THBG. generate biological age (BA) bone. Abstract Background Apolipoproteins have been recently proposed as novel markers of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. However, evidence regarding effects diet on apolipoproteins is limited. Aim To compare the Mediterranean (MD) and lacto-ovo vegetarian (VD) traditional CVD risk factors in participants with low-to-moderate Methods Fifty-two (39 women; 49.1 ± 12.4 years), followed MD VD for 3 months each. Medical dietary information was collected at baseline. Anthropometric parameters blood samples were obtained beginning end interventions. Results resulted significant improvement anthropometric lipid profiles. Both diets led to a reduction most inflammatory parameters. As apolipoproteins, change observed ApoC-I after (+ 24.4%; p = 0.020). negative correlation between ApoC-III carbohydrates (R − 0.29; 0.039) whereas ApoD saturated fats 0.38; 0.006). Subgroup analysis revealed from both diets, especially women, individuals older than 50 years-old or < factors.
