Abstract Analytical chemistry research has shifted towards environmentally friendly substitutes that reduce waste and avoid hazardous substances. These efforts align with broader environmental goals inspire sustainable responsible science. The objective of this work is to develop validate an analytical method verify its greenness using specific tools, including GREEnness (AGREE), metric for sample preparation (AGREEprep), green procedure index, complex Eco-Scale, volume intensity, score, HPLC-EAT (Environmental Assessment Tool). Clinical trials have demonstrated that combining fimasartan potassium trihydrate and atorvastatin calcium produces better results for essential hypertension dyslipidemia with fewer side effects than individual drugs. However, no analytical method is available to accurately determine both drugs' qualitative quantitative amounts when used together. Therefore, we are interested in developing validating three methods simultaneously estimating laboratory-prepared tablets. These include a novel, simple, precise, sensitive, robust HPLC technique, two UV spectrophotometric methods. The reversed-phase Shimpack ODS C18 column as stationary phase an isocratic procedure. Developing analytical techniques that align with green and sustainable chemistry principles is crucial in today's scientific landscape. This work introduces two innovative approaches for the simultaneous quantification of indacaterol (IND) mometasone (MOM), a recently approved combination therapy chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. These methods-rapid isocratic ion pair chromatography (IPC) UV-visible spectrophotometry-demonstrate improved environmental sustainability, cost-effectiveness, versatility compared to existing techniques. The optimized 4-min IPC method achieved excellent resolution (retention times 2.18 ± 0.1 min IND 3.95 MOM), peak symmetry, sensitivity.
