The γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CD) metal–organic frameworks (CD-MOF-1) consist of γ-CD and potassium (K+) ions through coordinating an eight-coordinated K+ ion with two C5-linked oxygen C6-linked hydroxyl (C5–O/C6–OH) groups in the primary faces adjacent units C2- C3-linked (C2–OH/C3–OH) secondary faces. Herein, we found polysaccharide gels only C2–OH/C3–OH or C5–O/C6–OH pyranoid rings can form four-coordinated then coordinate a KOH solution for CD-MOF-1 growth. Exposure is important to active ions. Abstract The modification of cigarette filters with nanozymes has gradually emerged as a promising strategy for reducing the harmful effects smoking by eliminating excessive free radicals and remediating oxidative stress‐induced pulmonary injury. However, currently, available nanozymes‐integrated usually ignore safety concerns fail to address pungent odor smoke, making it challenging develop an individual system high effectiveness while considering these important factors. Herein, novel smoke purifier (CDs/ME@MOF) is developed alternatively introducing carbon dots excellent scavenging activity Menthone masking miscellaneous gas into biocompatible γ‐cyclodextrin‐based metal–organic framework. CDs/ME@MOF can act profitable additive incorporated achieve over 90% efficiency reduce irritation. In mice model, composites demonstrated significant inflammation suppression, antioxidant levels promotion, notable lung tissues protection effect through elimination radicals. This work highlights potential safe, environmentally friendly, multipurpose modifying filter.
