An efficient and high-selectivity approach for the divergent synthesis of β-sulfinyl alkenylsulfones (E)-vinyl sulfones from alkynes TsCN is described. A series disulfurized products were constructed under mild conditions in absence transition metals. This transformation featured excellent regio- stereoselectivity, good functional group compatibility, broad substrate scope. The copper(I)-catalyzed sulfonation with that affords to yields was also developed.

An efficient and operationally simple method for the synthesis of α-acyloxy ketones through readily available 2-methylimidazole-promoted reaction α-hydroxy anhydrides is developed. In reaction, act as both a substrate solvent. The new features good tolerance, mild conditions, accessible starting materials, excellent yields, providing facile green access to targets. Importantly, also avoids use reagents with pungent odors, such pyridine, in traditional esterification, which may promote development organocatalysis using nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds catalysts.
