Direct
installation

sulfonyl
functional
group
into
the
C5-position
tetrahydropyridazine
was
achieved
using
N'-benzylidene-N-cinnamylacetohydrazide
as
new
building
skeleton
via
photocatalytic
carbosulfonylation/annulation
procedure.
Various
substituted
C5-sulfonylated
tetrahydropyridazines
were
obtained
in
good
to
excellent
yields
employing
aryl-
or
alkylsulfonyl
chlorides
radical
sources.
This
reaction
realized
through
selective
addition
C2
position
cinnamyl
followed
by
6-endo-trig
annulation
hydrazone
CH═N
bond.

Abstract
The
synthesis
of
acylmethylatated
pyrrolo‐quinazolinones
was
developed
via
photo‐induced
cascade
radical
addition/cyclization
N
‐(but‐3‐enyl)quinazolin‐4(3
H
)‐ones
with
sulfoxonium
ylides
using
4CzIPN
as
the
photocatalyst.
This
approach
also
suitable
for
construction
piperidino‐quinazolinones.
protocol
features
mild
conditions,
convenient
operation,
broad
substrate
scope
and
good
functional
group
compatibility.
