Abstract
Background
There
is
a
growing
body
of
evidence
suggesting
that
disturbance

gut-brain
axis

disorder
(MDD).

antidepressant
efficacy

fully
understood.

multi-omics
study

110
MDD
patients
treated
with
escitalopram
(ESC)
for
period
12
weeks.
This
conducted

cohort
compared
to
reference
group
166
healthy
individuals.

ESC
ameliorated
abnormal
blood
metabolism
by
upregulating
MDD-depleted
amino
acids
downregulating
MDD-enriched
fatty
acids.
On

weak
inhibitory
effect

richness

Machine
learning-based
integrative
analysis
