Abstract Special needs are of paramount importance in international equitable education. The focus on students with special has become the basis current education and reform. world is currently undergoing a pivotal phase digital transformation, educational digitalization gradually developing. However, only few studies have focused effect creativity needs, most them ignored its internal mechanism. This study therefore aims to explore manner which circumstances under affects needs. Building upon information theory, this proposes mediated moderating framework examine effects considering mediating role studying crafting creative self-efficacy. A survey methodology was employed collect empirical data interrelationships among digitalization, crafting, self-efficacy, results demonstrated significant positive relationship between through crafting. Furthermore, self-efficacy found play process. findings provide educators policymakers practical guidance how optimize implementation technologies environments order promote equity.
