This review aims to measure the different aspects of summer savory including biological activity, medicinal properties, nutritional value, food application, prospective health benefits, and its use as an additive in broiler feed. Furthermore, toxicity related this is also overviewed. Summer leaves are abundant total phenolic compounds (rosmarinic acid flavonoids) that have a powerful antioxidant impact. Rosmarinic (α-O-caffeoyl-3,4-dihydroxy-phenyl lactic) has been identified main component. According phytochemical investigations, tannins, volatile oils, sterols, acids, gums, pyrocatechol, compounds, mucilage, pyrocatechol primary Satureja species. extract shows considerable potential antioxidant, cytotoxic, antibacterial assays. Regarding displays inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation. Fe (III) reductive free radical scavenging properties contains minerals vitamins. important antimicrobial activity protective effects against Jurkat T Cells, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, infection, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cholesterol. The stems plant employed food, feed, pharmacological industries due their substantial content. Conclusively, widely considered beneficial for human versatile use.

AbstractFenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) is a pharmaceutically significant aromatic crop with health benefits linked to its phytochemicals. This article aims overview progress in using emerging technologies extract bioactive compounds and extraction mechanisms. Also, the trends applications of this herb food industry therapeutical effects were explained. Fenugreek's flavor primary reason for industry. At same time, it has antimicrobial, antibacterial, hepatoprotection, anticancer, lactation, antidiabetic effects. Phytochemicals responsible these include galactomannans, saponins, alkaloids, polyphenols. Besides, data showed that boost fenugreek extracts' yield biological activity. Among these, ultrasound (55.6%) most studied technology, followed by microwave (37.0%), cold plasma (3.7%), combined approaches (3.7%). Processing conditions (e.g., treatment time intensity) solvent (type, ratio, concentration) are parameters affect performance novel technologies. Extracts obtained sustainable energy-saving can be used develop value-added health-promoting products.HIGHLIGHTSFenugreek's phytochemicals galactomannans polyphenols) have therapeutic effectsUltrasound major fenugreek's compound extractionEmerging enhance activities extractsEmerging fenugreek-based products benefitsKeywords: Trigonella foenum-graecumextractsemerging techniquesphytochemicalstherapeutic Disclosure statementNo potential conflict interest was reported authors.Additional informationFundingThe author(s) there no funding associated work featured article.

During growth, plants produce bioactive compounds—secondary metabolites. Their concentration can be stimulated by the presence of a stressful factor—an elicitor. Since chlorine dioxide is commonly used in water to disinfect drinking water, its application as plant elicitor seems very attractive. The aim this work was investigate influence new elicitor, ClO2, on quality seeds and compounds sprouts. Elicitation radish broccoli using ClO2 solutions did not significantly reduce their germination percentage (GP remained over 90%). Radish sprouts sprouted from elicited with concentrations up 800 ppm differ statistically terms polyphenol content. Sprouts which were grown contained fewer polyphenolic compounds. 800–1000 causes an increase total phenolic content ascorbic acid only increased selected but also improved microbiological
