A promising method for non-invasive cancer diagnosis and prognosis is through salivary biomarkers. By utilizing the distinct characteristics of saliva progress made in biomarker studies, these markers provide more accurate diagnoses a wider range malignancies. An attempt was to thoroughly investigate field biomarkers tumor diagnosis, with an emphasis on their use various forms. Predetermined search criteria were utilized systematic across numerous databases peer-reviewed papers from 2009 2021. Studies concentrating detection, validation, clinical different types cancers included inclusion criteria. Initially, 238 articles found, which 15 relevant satisfied requirements. Information study aims, methodology, findings, conclusions gathered data extraction. We identified recurrent themes, patterns, contradictions by thematic analysis. also assessed state-of-the-art prognosis. One major finding identification biomolecules linked several forms, including pancreatic, oral, breast, lung, stomach cancers. There increasing amount evidence demonstrating value saliva-based diagnostics oncology. This due new detection methods developments proteomics genomics. Identification exosomes microvesicles as profiles offered molecular understandings etiology evolution cancer, thereby opening avenues treatment. DNA is an important target for oxidative attack and its modification may increase the risk of mutagenesis. The aim this study was to evaluate compare salivary levels stress biomarker 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) in patients with oral cancer (OC) compared control group by a comprehensive search available literature. present systematic review meta-analysis followed Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines registered Open Science Framework (OSF): https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/X3YMR. Four electronic databases were used identify studies review: PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web from January 15, 2005, April 2021. Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tool assess article quality. Of 166 articles identified, 130 excluded on basis title abstract screening (duplicates, reviews, etc.). Thirty-six evaluated at full text 7 met inclusion criteria. these, only 5 had compatible data quantitative analysis. An 8-OHdG found OC healthy subjects, but without statistical significance. 8-OHdG: SMD = 2,72 (95%CI= -0.25–5.70); *p 0.07. This suggests clear trend increased saliva group. However, further are required clarify understand altered marker.

A crucial measure of diabetes management is to monitor blood glucose, which often requires continuous collection, leading economic burden and discomfort. Blood glucose glycated hemoglobin A1c serve as traditional indicators monitoring. But now albumin, fructosamine, 1,5-anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) have been gaining more attention. 1,5-AG a chemically stable monosaccharide that exists in the human body. Its serum concentration remains when levels are normal. However, it decreases exceeds renal threshold. Studies shown 1.5-AG reflects changes 1 2 weeks; therefore, decreased can clinical indicator short-term disturbances. Recent studies be used not only for screening managing but also predicting diabetes-related adverse events islet β cell function prediabetic patients. In addition, saliva demonstrates potential value diagnosis diabetes. This review focuses on biological characteristics, detection methods, application promote understanding applicable research future.
