Many
studies
discuss
the
impact
of
music
programs
on
prison
inmates.
However,
few
have
investigated
formerly
incarcerated
individuals
(FIIs),
and

them
focused
programs’

Mental
and
substance
use
disorders
have
been
identified
as
the
leading
cause
of
global
disability,
burden
mental
illness
is
concentrated
among
those
experiencing
disability
due
to
serious
(SMI).
Music
has
studied
a
support
for
SMIs
decades,
with
promising
results;
however,
lack
synthesized
evidence
precluded
increased
uptake
access
music-based
approaches.

scoping
review

Training
(MACT)
