Downstream processing continues to face significant bottlenecks due current purification technologies and improvements in upstream. Chromatography systems have been the primary method for their high yields purities. However, use of high-titer-producing strains has highlighted limitations chromatographic steps, including mass transfer limitations, low capacity, scalability issues. These challenges, combined with growing interest fully continuous manufacturing processes, led a widespread alternative affinity chromatography systems. Polyethylene glycol precipitation demonstrated be powerful, flexible, easily scalable, titer-independent methodology purifying therapeutic proteins such as monoclonal antibodies, achieving purities comparable Furthermore, it also holds great potential simplifying processes new modalities overcome downstream processing. Herein, we discuss latest advances polyethylene technology explore its future research directions applications.

Ovarian cancer (OC) is a common gynecological disease with high mortality rate worldwide due to its insidious nature and undetectability at an early stage. The standard treatment, combining platinum‑based chemotherapy cytoreductive surgery, has suboptimal results. Therefore, diagnosis of OC crucial. All cell types secrete extracellular vesicles, particularly exosomes. Exosomes, which contain lipids, proteins, DNA non‑coding RNAs (ncRNAs), are novel methods intercellular communication that participate in tumor development progression. ncRNAs categorized by size into long (lncRNAs) small (sncRNAs). sncRNAs further include transfer RNAs, nucleolar PIWI‑interacting microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs inhibit protein translation promote messenger RNA (mRNA) cleavage suppress gene expression. By sponging downstream miRNAs, lncRNAs circular can regulate target expression, thereby weakening the interactions between mRNAs. Exosomes exosomal ncRNAs, commonly present human biological fluids, promising biomarkers for OC. article aimed review potential role prognosis summarizing characteristics, processes, roles isolation exosomes ncRNAs.

Atherosclerosis is the main pathogenic substrate for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Initially categorized as a passive cholesterol storage disease, nowadays, it considered an active process, identifying inflammation among key players its initiation and progression. Despite these advances, patients with CVDs are still at high risk of thrombotic events death, urging to deepen into molecular mechanisms underlying atherogenesis, identify novel diagnosis prognosis biomarkers their stratification. In this context, extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been postulated alternative in search atherosclerotic diseases, well investigate crosstalk between cells participating processes leading arterial remodelling. EVs nanosized lipidic particles released by most cell types physiological pathological conditions, that enclose lipids, proteins, nucleic acids from parental reflecting activation status.
