Abstract Background Routine gynaecological screening should incorporate simple and easily available ovarian reserve markers to ensure optimal reproductive health counselling. The purpose of this study is evaluate whether antral follicle count measured randomly during the menstrual cycle (rAFC) length (MCL) can predict response in women undergoing assisted technology. Methods 122 with regular cycles their first vitro fertilization were included. Transvaginal ultrasound was performed, previous posterior menses’ dates, anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) body mass index recorded. Visits scheduled: 52 patients screened follicular phase (7 early 2–4) 70 luteal phase.
