Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to develop a prediction model for Koreans in their 30s and 40s diagnosed with hypertension, aimed at determining whether they take medication implement non-pharmacological therapies manage hypertension Method This is descriptive research using secondary data from the 2023 Community Health Survey. subjects included 3,994 individuals South Korea. Decision tree analysis applied construct models. To validate models, split-sample tests were conducted Results findings demonstrated that 25.3% participants practicing both management. Individuals who knew blood pressure levels 40s, had received management education highest likelihood (35.1%) utilizing approaches. Conversely, unaware 30s, only 8.2% implemented methods. Conclusion It needed prioritize high-risk group consisting did not know support effectively managing hypertension.

Abstract Background Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a subtype of hemorrhagic stroke characterized by high mortality and low rates full recovery. This study aimed to investigate the epidemiological characteristics SAH between 1990 2021. Methods Data on incidence, mortality, disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) from 2021 were obtained Global Burden Disease Study (GBD) Estimated annual percentage changes (EAPCs) calculated evaluate in age-standardized rate (ASR) incidence as well trends burden. The relationship disease burden sociodemographic index (SDI) was also analyzed. Results In 2021, found be 37.09% higher than that 1990; however, (ASIRs) showed decreased [EAPC: -1.52; 95% uncertainty interval (UI) -1.66 -1.37]. Furthermore, both number deaths DALYs over time. It observed females had lower compared males. Among all regions, high-income Asia Pacific region exhibited highest ASIR (14.09/100,000; UI 12.30/100,000 − 16.39/100,000) with an EPAC for < 0 indicating decreasing trend time ASIR. Oceania recorded (ASMRs) among regions at values respectively 8.61 (95% 6.03 11.95) 285.62 209.42 379.65). associated primarily affected individuals aged 50 69 years old. Metabolic risks particularly elevated systolic blood pressure identified main risk factors contributing towards increased when against environmental or occupational behavioral evaluated within GBD framework. Conclusions varies gender, age group, geographical region. Although ASRs have shown decline time, remains significant, especially middle low-middle SDI levels. High stands out key factor SAH. The effects of consuming hemp seed protein (HSP) as well its hydrolysate-derived bioactive peptide (HSP+) on blood pressure (BP) has not to our knowledge been investigated in humans. We aimed investigate how consumption HSP and hydrolysate modulates 24-hr systolic diastolic BP (24-hrSBP 24-hrDBP) plasma biomarkers compared casein. In a double-blind, randomized, cross-over design trial, 35 adults who had mild hypertension with SBP between 130 160 millimeters mercury (mmHg), DBP ≤110 mmHg were recruited. Participants randomly assigned varying sequences three 6-week treatments, 50 g/d casein, HSP, 45 plus derived peptides (HSP+), 5 separated by 2-week washout period. Treatment assessed linear mixed model repeated measures. Compared after HSP+ consumption, 24hrSBP 24hrDBP decreased from 135.1 80.0 128.1 ± 1.6 (P<.0001) 76.0 1.4 respectively whereas these values 133.5 78.9 (P<.0001). There no differences the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity, renin or Nitric oxide (NO) concentrations. However, two treatments able lower both ACE activities raise NO concentration These results suggest that combination peptides, may have role dietary management hypertension. This trial was registered at clinicaltrials.gov NCT03508895.

Abstract Background In especially, low and middle-income nations (LMICs), where healthcare access may be restricted, high blood pressure (BP) is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease stroke, both of which can even lead to death. Altering one's lifestyle, in conjunction with medical therapy, has been demonstrated effective lowering BP. Recent research shown that physical activity (PA), variety guises varying degrees, an means Objective The purpose this meta-analysis systematic review was evaluate the impact PA plays development hypertension LMICs nations. Background Hypertension is one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Dietary flavonoids have been reported to reduce inflammation, protect against oxidative stress, vascular endothelium, and improve health. However, relationship between dietary flavonoid intake prevalence hypertension remains controversial. Methods This study included 8010 adults from 2007-2010 2017-2018 National Health Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES). The was explored by weighted logistic regression restricted cubic spline. Results We found an inverse total anthocyanin in fourth quartile compared with first [0.81(0.66,0.99), p = 0.04]. Moreover, tended decrease increasing participants over 60 years age. In addition, we a U-shaped flavan-3-ol intake. Total inversely associated third [0.79 (0.63,0.99), there significant negative association when below 48.26 mg/day. Conclusion Our moderate anthocyanins flavan-3-ols provides evidence population-based hypertension.
