As coral reefs around the world have suffered serious damage, it is necessary to protect them. Common modes of reef protection include reducing pollution, setting up reserves and managing fisheries rationally. In order derive applicable scope various for reefs, this article constructs three differential game models compares analyzes equilibrium results obtained by models. Finally, study shows that whether developed or developing countries, when benefits treatment are small, mode pollution can achieve maximum benefit. gradually increase, nature It worth noting greater carbon emission rights number treatment, more likely countries will adopt reserves.

The need for comprehensive and effective coral restoration projects, as part of a broader conservation management strategy, is accelerating in the face reef ecosystem decline. This study aims to expand currently limited knowledge base techniques Maldives by testing performance mid-water rope nurseries lagoon habitat. We examined whether different farming habitats impacted fragment survival, health growth two genera how occurrence mutualistic fauna, predation disease influenced rearing success. Two were stocked with total 448 Pocillopora verrucosa 96 Acropora spp. fragments, divided into groups (four groups: nursery at 5 m; 5, 10 15 m m). Eight replicates from same donor colony (Pocillopora genets: N = 14, genets 6) used each group monitored one year. Our results show that survival was high both (>90%), P. surviving significantly better growing faster nursery. rates similar between Different depths had no impact on but decreased considerably depth, reducing fragments' ecological volume augmentation almost half depth. Further, higher fish fragments recorded reef, which did not overall performance. Mutualistic correlated positively more frequently observed noted habitats, even though implications severe lagoon. Overall, our demonstrates are suitable large numbers transplantation. Nevertheless, we recommend considering specific environmental conditions habitat, particular water quality year-round accessibility, case adjust strategy accordingly. hope this novel research encourages increased application 'coral gardening' advance recovery climate resilience Maldives.

Today, entire planet changed due to greatest threat on since introduction this lethal disease. pandemic left world turmoil various measures have taken many countries including movement control order lockdown, slow down mitigate infection. Since lockdown implemented almost all affected countries, there significant reduction anthropogenic activity, industrial operations, vehicle numbers, marine-related activities. All these changes also led some unexpected environmental consequences. As result it had positive negative impact environment aquatic environment.
