Abstract Background The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruptions in the implementation of programs across educational institutions. Nursing students, being both young adults and by practical training, part health care system, may be particularly vulnerable during pandemic. purpose this study was to explore associations between self-reported fear COVID-19, general health, psychological distress overall quality life (QoL) a sample Norwegian baccalaureate nursing students compared reference data. Methods survey targeted from five universities February 2021. BackgroundWith the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, role nurses came into limelight. Despite efforts, concerns have grown about nurse's support, interest in carrying out their job responsibilities, and fear getting infection. Therefore, we aim to assess prevalence predictors turnover intention, social (FCV-19) among frontline nurses.MethodsA descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted May–June 2022, involving 229 using total enumeration sampling technique. Standardized tools consisting intention scale, multidimensional scale perceived FCV-19 were administered. The data analyzed IBM SPSS version 20.0. Descriptive inferential statistics included Kolmogorov–Smirnov test, Mann–Whitney U, Kruskal–Wallis H test. Multiple linear regression analysis performed predict factors affecting main variables.ResultsThe mean age study participants 27.10 ± 2.72 years, with majority being females (86.0 %). results indicated that a significant proportion had leave nursing profession (43.7 Majority reported high support (55.9 %) low (61.6 Regression identified marital status as influencing intention.ConclusionOur suggested approximately half might near future, even though they report FCV-19, potentially adverse effects on patient care within hospital setting, necessitating urgent interventions from both nurse managers administrators.
