When it comes rodents, major challenge carry out sanitary monitoring, which currently expensive requires large volume samples, generating ethical, legal, psychological conflicts professionals researchers. We carried survey relevant on this technique different diagnostic protocols combined aim presenting promising EAM. Since FTIR detect diseases advantages such low samples required, cost, sustainability, provides tests high specificity sensitivity, we believe that highly stress detection interest infectious or non-infectious origin.

The aim the study was to deliver insights into relationship between long-term use statins gallstone disease (GSD), as well background particularities gut microbiota. All participants underwent clinical examination, laboratory workups, stool microbiology/stool 16S r RNA, next-generation sequencing, abdominal ultrasound/CT exams. Results: presented similarities related age, gender, location. Patients displayed comparable heredity GSs, metabolic issues, co-morbidities. Gut dysbiosis (DB) present 54% (−) vs. 35% (+) (p = 0.0070). GSs were 14% group 5% 0.0304). Severe dysbiosis, a significant reduction biodiversity, an increase LPS bacteria, notable decrease mucin-degrading mucosa-protective butyrate-producing bacteria observed group. Micrococcus antarcticus (M. antarcticus) is an aerobic Gram-positive spherical actinobacterium that was initially isolated from Chinese Great-Wall station in Antarctica 2000. M. considered to be of low pathogenicity, no previous cases human infection by this organism have been reported. Here we describe the first report with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) caused antarcticus. An 87-year-old female presented Central Hospital Wuhan November 2023 a chief complaint cough, sputum production, and chest tightness for 2 weeks. Microbial culture patient's bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) identification isolates using Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization/time flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed infection. Combined clinical symptoms, laboratory imaging examination, patient diagnosed CAP. Then cefoperazone/sulbactam levofloxacin administrated, condition improved she discharged after week admission, abnormalities were detected during 5-month follow-up. This case highlights antarcticus, identified CAP, extremely rare pathogenic microorganism. Clinicians should aware its potential as pathogen diagnosis treatment
