Introduction The association between Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and abortion has been debated since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. We aimed to conduct this systematic review understand better potential effects Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) on fetal loss in infected mothers presented with following infection. Methods included articles published PubMed/Medline, Web Science, clinicaltrials.gov, Embase databases 2020 through a comprehensive search via appropriate keywords, including synonyms. All studies data confirmed pregnant females were collected. Results Out 208 potentially relevant articles, 11 eligible include review. reports because reasons: (1) First-trimester miscarriage; (2) Late (3) complication infection pregnancy; (4) disease artificial pregnancy. was found 5 studies, second-trimester 7 studies. Two patients acquired during hospital stay while they referred for abortion. Reports related show that most miscarriages due first trimester placental insufficiency. Nineteen questions were included 5 domains: (1) engagement care; (2) person healthcare; (3) (4) remote pregnancy surveillance tools; (5) sources information.Responses obtained from 164 people. Forty percent participants had an audio-only visit, 60% video visit. The was easy or somewhat for 79% respondents difficult 6.8%. most common barrier poor internet phone connectivity, followed by childcare responsibilities, lack equipment, privacy. Participants also engaged additional care including calls registered nurses (7.6%), communication obstetrics team through secure health messaging portal (21.1%), home monitoring (76.3%).In this survey, evaluating participating pandemic, positive overall, but identified significant participation issues connectivity equipment Most used combination other tools self-care.

There are currently eight vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 that have received Emergency Use Authorization by the WHO can offer some protection to world's population during COVID-19 pandemic. Though research is being published all over world, public health officials, policymakers and governments collecting evidence-based information establish policies. Unfortunately, continued international travel, violations of lockdowns social distancing, lack mask use, emergence mutant strains virus lower adherence a sector global remains sceptical offered vaccines, or about any risks associated with hamper these efforts. Here we examine literature on efficacy, effectiveness safety an emphasis select categories individuals new strains. The shows highly effective in protecting from severe disease death, but there issues concerning adverse effects. Further, booster shots variant-specific would also be required.

The physiological changes during pregnancy may increase the risk of complications in pregnant women with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Vitamin D is a fat-soluble secosteroid hormone and its role immunity appears to be particular importance this recent pandemic. Nevertheless, there little research about vitamin levels regarding COVID-19 date. This study aimed establish relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin (25(OH)D) COVID-19. A comparative case-control was performed population 256 (82 infection 174 control group). Serum 25(OH)D were significantly lower than those without infection. In addition, 89% COVID-19-positive had deficiency, while group percentage 75.30%, finding statistically significant differences (ORa = 2.68; 95% CI 1.19-6.06; p 0.01). Our results find deficiency could relevant for actual clinical practice. Thus, more needed field.

Along with age and race, sex has historically been a core stratification control variable in epidemiologic research. While recent decades research guidelines institutionalized requirements have incorporated an approach differentiating biological from social gender, neither nor gender is itself unidimensional construct. The conflation of dimensions within between presents validity issue wherein proxy measures are used for interest, often without explicit acknowledgement or evaluation. Here, individual-level outlined as guide epidemiologists, 2 case studies presented. first study demonstrates how unacknowledged use sex/gender sexed dimension interest (uterine status) resulted cancer misestimating risks, racial disparities, trends. second illustrates multidimensional framework may be applied to strengthen on coronavirus disease 2019 incidence, diagnosis, morbidity, mortality. Considerations outlined, including: 1) addressing the match theory, explicitly acknowledging evaluating use; 2) improving measurement across ecological levels; 3) incorporating multidimensionality into objectives; 4) interpreting sex, their effects biopsychosocial.
