Введение. Представления воспитателей об особенностях эмоционального развития детей изучались в исследованиях преимущественно связи с используемыми ими методами обучения детей, тогда как взаимосвязь развитием понимания эмоций у дошкольников остается малоизученной. Понимание детьми включает себя распознавание эмоций, понимание влияния внешних причин, роли желаний, убеждений, воспоминаний, моральных правил возникновении а также того, что эмоции могут быть скрытыми и смешанными, их можно регулировать. Цель исследования заключалась выявлении представлений педагогов о развитии воспитанников тех или иных аспектов на уровень 5–6 лет. Методы. В исследовании приняли участие 16 старших групп детского сада, которых были опрошены основных продиагностированы 324 ребенка. Для выявления понимании был применен метод структурированного интервью, для оценки использован «Тест эмоций». Результаты. Воспитатели довольно точны определении возраста, котором дошкольники овладевают большей частью показателей (кроме осознания смешанных эмоций). При этом группах, где педагоги считали, детям еще недоступно этих аспектов, справились заданиями теста данные способности успешнее, чем дети воспитатели предполагали, эти уже сформированы. Обсуждение результатов. Можно предположить, воспитатели, по представлению воспитанники не овладели данными способностями, больше ориентированы обучение этим аспектам эмоций.
