The loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) is a significant freshwater economic fish in China, renowned for its tender meat, delicious taste, and high nutritional value. It widely distributed across the country, except western plateau. However, currently at risk of population decline degradation wildlife resources. Research on genetic diversity provides crucial foundation conservation development these To enhance protection utilization wild germplasm resources, we analyzed structure 60 populations from Xiangtan City (XT), Shaoyang (SY), Yueyang (XY) Hunan, Guilin (GL) Guiping (GP) Guangxi, Wuhan (WH) Hubei. Additionally, mapped DNA fingerprints loaches using 12 high-quality SNP sites. Whole genome resequencing (WGRS) was conducted six regions, yielding total 1047.17 Gb raw data 1046.98 clean data. From this 2,812,906 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified, which 10,022 core SNPs selected to analyze structure, used assess fingerprint. analysis revealed that samples could be grouped into three clusters: Cluster A comprised XT, SY, XY groups; B included WH group; C consisted GL GP groups. mean nucleic acid (Pi), heterozygosity (Ho), expected (He) markers 0.130, 0.140, 0.123, respectively. average inbreeding coefficient 0.552, indicating levels inbreeding. an effective high-throughput approach identifying information describing relationships within genus. fingerprinting based marker technology can accurately variation natural populations, making it valuable tool strain identification. Our findings provide scientific basis conservation, development, optimal breeding native resources contribute expanding database populations.

Cashmere goats are valuable genetic resources which famous worldwide for their high-quality fiber. Runs of homozygosity (ROHs) have been identified as an efficient tool to assess inbreeding level and identify related genes under selection. However, there is limited research on ROHs in cashmere goats. Therefore, we investigated the ROH pattern, assessed genomic levels examined candidate associated with trait using whole-genome resequencing data from 123 Herein, Inner Mongolia goat presented lowest coefficient 0.0263. In total, 57,224 ROHs. Seventy-four islands containing 50 were detected. Certain meat, fiber milk production (FGF1, PTPRM, RERE, GRID2, RARA); fertility (BIRC6, ECE2, CDH23, PAK1); disease or cold resistance adaptability (PDCD1LG2, SVIL, PRDM16, RFX4, SH3BP2); body size growth (TMEM63C, SYN3, SDC1, STRBP, SMG6). 135 consensus identified, found (FGF5, DVL3, NRAS, KIT) length color. These findings enhance our comprehension foundations traits influenced by selective breeding. This contributes significantly future breeding, reservation use other breeds.

Dairy goats, a livestock species with long history of milk production, are essential for the economic advancement nations, particularly in regions experiencing growth. In this study, we gathered whole-genome resequencing data 58 including 34 dairy goats and 24 wild (Bezoar), to explore selection signatures linked production traits using ROH (Runs homozygosity), CLR (composite likelihood ratio), Fst (Fixation index), XP-EHH (Ex-tended haplotype homozygosity across populations) XP-CLR(Cross-population composite ratio test) methods. Analysis five tests revealed total 210 genes, genes consistently identified at least two approaches. These associated fat, protein, fat yield. Gene enrichment analysis highlighted important GO KEGG pathways related such as "acyl-CoA metabolic process", "glycerolipid biosynthetic "cellular response fatty ac-id", "hormone "Galactose metabolism". Additionally, repro-duction, immune response, environmental adaptation were goats. Indigenous pig populations, including Bamei pigs (BM), Hezuo (HZ), Huixian Qingni Black (HX), and Minxian (MX) in Gansu Province, live a particular climate relatively closed geographical environment. These local breeds are characterized by excellent characteristics (e.g., cold tolerance, robust disease resistance, superior meat quality). In the past few years, populations Province have decreased significantly because of their poor lean percentage, high fat content, slow growth rate. Maintaining diversity these four can act as source new alleles to be incorporated into commercial which more susceptible less adaptable changing conditions inbreeding. Genomic data analysis is adequate for determining genetic livestock breeding population structure, even populations. However, structure native still unknown. Thus, we used "Zhongxin-I" porcine chip SNP detection 102 individuals living on conservation farms. A total 57,466 SNPs were identified among breeds. The linkage disequilibrium (LD) plot showed that MX had highest level LD, followed BM, HZ, HX. observed heterozygosity (Ho) all was higher than expected (He). principal component (PCA) demonstrated isolated. identity displayed state matrix G heat map results indicated small numbers distance weak relationships. HX, slight loss. Our findings enabled us better understand genome indigenous will provide novel insights future germplasm utilization
