Increasing global food production is threatened by harsh environmental conditions along with biotic stresses, requiring massive new research into integrated stress resistance in plants. Stomata play a pivotal role response to many and abiotic but their orchestrated interactions at the molecular, physiological, biochemical levels were less investigated. Here, we reviewed influence of drought, pathogen, insect herbivory on stomata provide comprehensive overview context stomatal regulation. We also summarized molecular mechanisms triggered these stresses. To further investigate effect stomata–herbivore interaction transcriptional level, transcriptome studies from different plant species attacked pests revealed evidence crosstalk between stress. Comprehensive understanding involvement some plant–herbivore may be an essential step towards herbivores’ manipulation plants, which provides insights for development pest management strategies. Tomato is one of the most significant vegetable crops, which provides several important dietary components. Pakistan has a low tomato yield compared to other countries because genetic diversity and absence improved cultivars. Until a few years ago, many studies focused on the transcriptomic response to single stresses. However, tomato cultivations are often constrained by wide range of biotic and abiotic stress that can occur singularly or in combination, several genes be involved defensive mechanism response. Therefore, we analyzed compared responses resistant susceptible genotypes seven stresses (Cladosporium fulvum, Phytophthora infestans, Pseudomonas syringae, Ralstonia solanacearum, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) Tuta absoluta) five (drought, salinity, low temperatures, oxidative stress) identify multiple stressors. Breeding efforts in species have mainly focused on increasing productivity, abiotic biotic tolerance/resistance, shelf-life, content health-promoting metabolites fruit rather than decreasing anti-nutritional compounds fruit. From literature, we collected information mapping quantitative trait loci (QTLs) affecting eggplant’s traits following a biparental or multi-parent approach as well genome-wide association (GWA) studies. positions QTLs were lifted according to reference line (v4.1) more 700 identified, here organized into 180 genomic regions (QGRs). Our findings thus provide tool to: (i) determine best donor genotypes for specific traits; (ii) narrow down QTL by combining from different populations; (iii) pinpoint potential candidate genes.

Such traits were least influenced by environmental effects, additive gene action played pivotal role manifestation such characters. Traits values (51.37–67.94%) demonstrate that observed was under control provide an enormous range possibilities accomplishing selection depending on their phenotypic performances. For moderate heritability, bolting doubling would be less effective but can still given great importance. Based correlation analysis, character’s thickness, equatorial diameter, polar diameter unveiled highly positive (0.120, 0.112; 0.194, 0.210 0.120, 0.112 genotypic coefficient values, respectively), which indicates bulb increased increase components.
