Pregnant women working in the manufacturing industry are at risk of experiencing stress both from pregnancy itself and their occupation. Supporting them to cope effectively with this is an important role nurse-midwife. This cross-sectional study investigated predictive power job strain, pregnancy-specific stress, sense coherence, self-esteem, religious belief, social support predicting coping among pregnant industry. The participants were 288 visiting antenatal department five provincial hospitals Thailand. research instruments a demographic data recording form, Thai versions Job Content Questionnaire, Revised Prenatal Distress 13-item Sense Coherence, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Buddhist Belief Social Support Ways Coping Checklist-Revised. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics hierarchical multiple regression. results revealed that altogether could explain 60% variance problem-focused 57% emotion-focused was strongest predictorof coping, while coherence predictor coping. findings can be used by nurse-midwives planning interventions promote industry, focusing on enhancing reducing stress.

Abstract The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic significantly changed prenatal care experience, specifically regarding medical appointments and social opportunities. It is critical to capture this change through narratives pregnant people, particularly those marginalized populations, whose voices may often be underrepresented in literature. This mixed-methods paper summarizes experiences 40 Black/African American (AA) women during pandemic. Abstract Peripartum depression (PPD) is a major complication of pregnancy and many risk factors have been associated with its development, including dysfunctional coping strategies insecure attachment styles, both during postpartum. The aim our study was to investigate the role in mediating relationship between women’s style PPD pregnancy, one week after childbirth, large cohort women. We hypothesized that anxious avoidant would be mediated by use maladaptive strategies. assessment instruments were Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), Brief Coping Orientation for Problem Experiences (COPE), Close Relationship (ECR). results indicated effect styles (anxious attachment) on antepartum depressive symptomatology partially styles. Anxious has also an indirect significant postpartum through emotional coping; however, does not seem significantly related depression.
