Dental, oral, and craniofacial diseases can substantially impact the quality of human life, thereby posing a serious public health concern. Although conventional therapies such as surgery have solved these problems largely, prognosis patients is not always satisfactory. Cell membrane-coated nanoparticles (CMCNPs) carry nanodrugs with help natural cell membranes, therefore utilizing their remarkable ability to interface interact surrounding environment. These demonstrated substantial advantages in drug targeting, prolonging blood circulation time, penetrating biofilms, immune escape. With assistance CMCNPs, therapeutic effects dental, reach higher level. CMCNPs been applied for various conditions head neck cancer, periodontal disease, oral biosignal detection. For widely utilized tool chemotherapy, phototherapy, immunotherapy, while yet be exploited imaging technique. In end, we summarized challenges prospectives diseases: large-scale production uniform standards high quantity, extensive application directions regions (implant, endodontics), promotion its clinical application.

Targeted therapy has become crucial to modern translational science, offering a remedy conventional drug delivery challenges. Conventional systems encountered challenges related solubility, prolonged release, and inadequate penetration at the target region, such as tumor. Several formulations, liposomes, polymers, dendrimers, have been successful in advancing clinical trials with goal of improving drug’s pharmacokinetics biodistribution. Various stealth coatings, including hydrophilic polymers PEG, chitosan, polyacrylamides, can form protective layer over nanoparticles, preventing aggregation, opsonization, immune system detection. As result, they are classified under Generally Recognized Safe (GRAS) category. Serum, biological sample, complex composition. Non-specific adsorption chemicals onto an electrode lead fouling, impacting sensitivity accuracy focused diagnostics therapies. anti-fouling materials procedures developed minimize impact fouling on specific diagnoses therapies, leading significant advancements recent decades. This study provides detailed analysis current methodologies using surface modifications that leverage antifouling properties peptides, proteins, cell membranes for advanced targeted cancer treatment. In conclusion, we examine obstacles by present technologies possible avenues future development.

Abstract The controversy over neck management for cT1‐2N0 OSCC patients has persisted two decades. While selective dissection (SND) been deemed effective, only 30% of actually exhibit lymph node metastasis (LNM). SND‐related complications, such as shoulder dysfunction and lymphedema, significantly impact patient quality life, suggesting that 70% may not benefit from SND. Current guidelines advocate observation, sentinel biopsy (SLNB), SND, but the appropriate scenarios each strategy need further exploration. Risk stratification assessment can inform treatment decisions in early‐stage OSCC. This review explores histological risk factors, SLNB, gene expression profiles, biomarkers stratification. Additionally, we assess potential value postoperative radiotherapy (PORT) immunotherapy, particularly immune checkpoint blockade (ICB), Risk‐stratified approaches align with personalized medicine precision surgery trends, while PORT ICB offer more reliable options. comprehensive systematically synthesizes past selection therapeutic strategies patients, alongside their respective strengths limitations. We aspire to contribute optimization ultimately enhancing both survival outcomes life.

The precise identification of sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) during surgery and assessment their benign status is crucial for accurate tumor staging optimal treatment strategizing. Currently, a deficiency exists in non-invasive vivo diagnostic techniques that can accurately pinpoint SLNs while simultaneously evaluating status. Here, tumor-activatable liposomal nanoprobe (nTAL) developed, remotely loaded with clinically approved photosensitizer, methyl aminolevulinate (MAL), to noninvasively visualize the metastasis (LNs) precision. Benefited from highly efficient LNs draining nanosized liposome cell-specific transformation non-fluorescent MAL fluorescent protoporphyrin IX (PPIX), nTAL succeeded targeting differentiated metastatic ones positive correlation between PPIX generation cell infiltration LNs. Moreover, technology capable probing early stage primary size 50 mm
