COVID-19-related complications can last for years, even in patients who are asymptomatic during the acute phase, a phenomenon referred to as long COVID. This scoping review aimed summarize risk factors and clinical symptoms of COVID Africa between 2020 2022. Five studies were included. Three used this retrospective cross-sectional studies, one was prospective cohort study while another case-control study. The identified several COVID, including being female, older than 40 having more four COVID-19 symptoms, concomitant conditions such asthma, hypertension, depression. General, respiratory, cardiovascular, otolaryngological, gastrointestinal, neurological among reported symptoms. To ensure that with diagnosed treated early, need be different population groups.

Introduction Fatigue and malaise are commonly associated with a wide range of medical conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Evidence suggests that fatigue can be overwhelming for patients, yet these symptoms remain inadequately-managed, largely due to an incomplete elucidation the underlying causes.

Understanding the pathophysiology of long COVID is one most intriguing challenges confronting contemporary medicine. Despite observations recently made in relevant molecular, cellular, and physiological domains, it still difficult to say whether post-acute sequelae COVID-19 directly correspond consequences severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. This work hypothesizes that neutrophils neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) production are at interconnection three positive feedback loops which initiated phase SARS-CoV-2 infection, involve inflammation, immunothrombosis, autoimmunity. phenomenon could be favored by fact may bind penetrate neutrophils. The ensuing strong stimulation leads a progressive amplification an exacerbated uncontrolled NETs production, potentially persisting for months beyond continuous self-stimulation leads, turn, systemic micro-thromboses, autoantibodies, whose significant include persistence endothelial multiorgan damage, vascular complications.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a recent pandemic caused by novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) leading to pulmonary and extra-pulmonary manifestations due the development of oxidative stress (OS) hyperinflammation. The underlying cause for OS hyperinflammation in COVID-19 may be related inhibition nuclear factor erythroid 2-related (Nrf2), master regulator antioxidative responses cellular homeostasis. Nrf2 pathway inhibits expression pro-inflammatory cytokines cytokine storm COVID-19. activators can attenuate endothelial dysfunction (ED), renin-angiotensin system (RAS) dysregulation, immune thrombosis, coagulopathy. Hence, this review aimed reveal potential role its management As well, we tried revise mechanistic
