Background Early childhood is a critical period during which patterns of movement behaviors are formed. The World Health Organization had endorsed guidelines for physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep over 24-h time period, been adopted by the Center Protection Hong Kong. This paper reports on stakeholder engagements that were conducted to inform design strategies disseminate in early education (ECE) settings. Methods Using mixed-methods study design, we sought (a) assess stakeholders' levels awareness knowledge Kong young children (b) identify factors influence uptake said guidelines. We an online survey teachers ( N =314), twelve focus groups involving = 18) parents 18), individual interviews key informants 7) domestic workers who provide care preschool-aged 7). Descriptive statistics used quantitative data, thematic analysis was performed qualitative data using inductive semantic approach following realist framework. Findings Our findings show aware children, but their specific deficient; limited Uptake enabled parent engagement, activities ECE centers, home-school cooperation, community children. challenges include poverty parents, local curriculum requirements, spaces, social values, pandemic-related restrictions. Abstract Interest in learning dissemination and implementation (D&I) science is at an all-time high. As founding faculty fellows of a new center focused on D&I science, we have found that non-specialist researchers newcomers to often express confusion around the difference between D I. Relatedly, they struggle identify what their specific projects target impact public health within amorphous “black box” singular, loosely defined “research-to-practice gap.” To improve conceptual clarity enhance engagement with developed graphic—the Bridge—and accompanying glossary terms use as teaching framing tool. The Bridge depicts bridging know from knowledge do practice intention equity, it spans over four distinct, inter-related gaps: supply gap, demand methodological/scientific expertise capacity gap. gap addressed by strategies, whereas strategies. producing generalizable about D&I, developing multi-disciplinary workforce needed advance D&I. Initial feedback has been positive, this conceptualization helped inform our center’s training, project consultations, strategic planning. We believe provides useful heuristic for helping non-specialists understand differential scopes various well gaps may be methods.

Importance Affordable surgical innovations (ASIs) provide simple, safe and equitable solutions in resource-limited settings. Effective dissemination is needed for widespread adoption uptake of ASIs low middle-income countries (LMICs). However, systems these settings face challenges with ASIs, which remain unknown and/or unused even after supporting evidence published. A surgery-specific, implementation science-informed framework can a roadmap delineating the actions to achieve this goal; however, none exist currently. Each model was described critiqued each detail discussed features Result Nine were identified. While had some comprehension, flexibility theoretical foundations, analysis identified limitations including: presupposing rational policymaking; lacking alternatives for time-sensitive situations; not capturing complexity; neglecting unintended effects; limited context considerations; inadequate complexity concepts; collaboration guidance; unspecified adaptations. We aim identify critical dimensions related decision‐making at national, regional, local organisational levels. used qualitative single‐case approach, analysing 21 stakeholder interviews nine administrative documents. conducted abductive thematic analyses. report results compliance COREQ guideline. Our analysis identified three main external contextual influences affecting service sustainment: (1) System‐Level Planning—the coherence of formulation execution facilitative strategies across different levels; (2) Political Decision Making—the recognition inception points change ability set IPS on broader agenda; (3) Stakeholder Engagement Collaboration—the need for mutual goals collaborative platforms. Strategic planning, governance decisions, involvement affect local‐level decisions sustained implementation. research introduces concept ‘Decision‐Chain Integrity’, highlighting alignment their implementation levels administration pivotal factor producing system.
