The microalga Chlorella vulgaris is a popular food ingredient widely used in the industry, with an increasing market size and value. Currently, several edible strains of C. different organoleptic characteristics are commercialized to meet consumer needs. This study aimed compare fatty acid (FA) lipid profile four (C-Auto, C-Hetero, C-Honey, C-White) using gas- liquid-chromatography coupled mass-spectrometry approaches, evaluate their antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties. Results showed that C-Auto had higher content compared other levels omega-3 polyunsaturated FAs (PUFAs). However, C-White omega-6 PUFAs. lipidome signature was also between strains, as polar lipids esterified PUFAs, while phospholipids C-Hetero C-Honey triacylglycerols. All extracts activity, highlighting greater potential. Overall, can be selectively chosen source added-value ingredients nutraceutical applications for needs nutritional requirements.

The fatty acid (FA) compositions of thirty-nine vegetable oils and fats, including nangai nut, pili shea butter, tamanu oil, baobab, sea buckthorn berry, Brazil grape seed, black evening primrose, passion fruit, milk thistle, sunflower, pumpkin sesame, soybean, flax kukui, red raspberry walnut, chia hemp rosehip, almond, avocado, carrot moringa, apricot kernel, camellia macadamia, olive, marula, argan, castor, jojoba, pomegranate medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) coconut, roasted canola, mustard were analyzed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Vegetable fats have different profiles in terms their composition, major constituents vary significantly. However, we categorized them into classes based on the percentages acids they contain. saturated acids, such as palmitic stearic acid, unsaturated oleic linoleic linolenic are main categories. Among them, coconut oil contained greatest amount followed by nut (45.61%). Passion fruit largest (66.23%), while seed had highest content (58.25%). Oleic was exclusively present constituting 78.57% its composition. Notably, a significant presence erucic (54.32%), punicic (74.77%). Jojoba primarily consisted (Z)-11-eicosenoic (29.55%) (Z)-docos-13-en-1-ol (27.96%). constituent castor ricinoleic (89.89%). Compared with other (E)-FA (20.62%), berry 9.60%. FA from sources may be problematic human diet due to no labeling or absence essential components. Therefore, consumers must cast an eye over some components consumed dietary intake.

Oil Blending is a trendy method of retaining their visual appeal, which also enhances quality, stability, and nutritional content. The significance this study lies in its pioneering approach towards determining the optimal fatty acid ratio through blending oils extracted from Bangladeshi origin rice bran, sesame seed, mustard seed. Three blends were prepared, consisting unrefined bran oil (RBO), (MO), partially refined (SO) different proportions: 70:20:10, 50:30:20, 30:40:30, respectively. GCMS (Gas Chromatogram-Mass Spectrometer) analyses revealed that 50:30:20 (RBO:MO:SO) blend preserved acids, 1:2:1; Saturated acids (SFA): mono-unsaturated (MUFA): poly-unsaturated (PUFA), closely matched WHO/FAO standards. This was further evaluated compared with each individual oil. Compared to oils, blended demonstrated superior physicochemical qualities. had total antioxidant content 96.046±0.11%, an IC50 value 0.518±0.20mg/mL. much greater than single on par standards BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) (97.589±0.40%) BHA ((butylated hydroxyanisole) (96.528±0.83%).
