Abstract Study Objectives Despite the negative impact of poor sleep on mental health, evidence-based insomnia management guidelines have not been translated into routine healthcare. Here, we evaluate a state-wide knowledge translation effort to disseminate and education graduate psychology programs online using RE-AIM (reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, maintenance) evaluation framework. Methods Using non-randomized waitlist control design, students attended validated 6-hour workshop delivered live as part their program in Victoria, Australia. Sleep knowledge, attitudes, practice assessments were conducted pre- post-program, with long-term feedback collected at 12 months. Results Seven out ten adopted (adoption rate = 70%). The reached 313 students, research participation 81%. was effective improving students’ self-efficacy manage disturbances cognitive behavioral therapy for (CBT-I), compared medium-to-large effect sizes (all p < .001). Implementation positive, 96% rating very good-to-excellent. Twelve-month maintenance data demonstrated that 83% had used knowledge/skills learned clinical practice. However, more practical training is required achieve CBT-I competency. Conclusions Online workshops can be scaled deliver cost-effective foundational students. This will accelerate improve health outcomes nationwide.

We examined the feasibility of SleepNow intervention combining cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) physical exercise in men prostate cancer (mPCa). Patients/material and methods: conducted a randomized trial under treatment castration resistant mPCa (Insomnia Severity Index [ISI] score ≥ 8). Patients were 1:1 to either or usual care. is manualized 12-week program consisting bi-weekly sessions four nurse-led CBT-I. care received no treatment. assessed measured objective patient-reported outcomes at baseline 3-months follow-up. Changes both groups compared using Wilcoxon test. Results: 12 (5 7 control; age range = 59–81 years, mean Gleason 7.75, time since diagnosis ≈ years). Intervention reported high satisfaction, all attended least three CBT-I (75%) completed 20 24 training sessions. The group showed improvements insomnia, sleep quality, fatigue, anxiety, depression health-related quality-of-life but between-group differences not statistically significant. Interpretation: first combine nurse-delivered was acceptable potentially efficacious. Our results are important targeting interventions growing population long term

Sleep is essential for overall health, yet various sleep disorders disrupt normal patterns, affecting duration, quality, and timing. This pilot study investigate the impact of a food supplement (SPINOFF®) on both quality mental well-being in 41 participants (mean age: 45.3 years). Initial assessments revealed disturbances (Pittsburgh Quality Index—PSQ—mean score: 8.2) insomnia symptoms (Insomnia Severity Index—ISI— mean 12.7). Mental health showed psychological distress (Dass-21 Depression 4.2, Anxiety 6.9, Stress 11.6, Total 22.7). assessed continuity using Awakenings per Night (ApN) via smartwatch (HELO HEALTH®) conducted two phases: baseline (T0) after 30 days treatment (T1) (Phase A). No placebo-control was used this study. After B), 21 patients were selected reassessment. Eleven continued another (T2), while ten discontinued. Following intervention, we observed remarkable improvements distress. The SPINOFF® significantly reduced PSQI scores (22.4%), indicating enhanced quality. Additionally, there 19.6% decrease ISI scores, demonstrating reduction symptoms. Moreover, decreased by 19.5% signifying improved well-being. In second phase, who experienced more substantial improvements, with 0.8 points (±0.9) 0.9 scores. Our findings suggest that has potential to effectively address our population.
