Timely recognition of cancer progression and treatment complications is important for guidance. Digital phenotyping a promising method precise remote monitoring patients in their natural environments by using passively generated data from sensors personal wearable devices. Further studies are needed to better understand the potential clinical benefits digital approaches optimize care with cancer. We aim evaluate whether smartphone feasible predict disease trajectories patient-centered health outcomes. We will recruit 200 undergoing cancer. Patients be followed up 6 months. Passively devices (eg, accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS) continuously collected developed LAIMA app during follow-up. We (1) mobility an accelerometer (mean time active period, mean exertional physical activity, distance covered per day, duration inactive period), GPS (places interest visited daily, hospital visits), gyroscope (2) sociability indices (frequency phone calls, frequency length text messages, internet browsing time). Every 2 weeks, asked complete questionnaires pertaining quality life (European Organization Research Treatment Cancer Core Quality Life Questionnaire [EORTC QLQ-C30]), depression symptoms (Patient Health Questionnaire-9 [PHQ-9]), anxiety (General Anxiety Disorder-7 [GAD-7]) that deployed via app. Clinic visits take place at 1-3 months 3-6 study. evaluated progression, complications, functional status (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group) study oncologist questionnaire evaluating (EORTC QLQ-C30), (PHQ-9), (GAD-7). examine associations among digital, clinical, patient-reported outcomes develop prediction models clinically meaningful outcomes. As July 2023, we have reached planned recruitment target, Data collection expected completed September 2023. Anxiety disorders are very prevalent and often persistent mental disorders, with a considerable rate of treatment resistance which requires regulatory clinical trials innovative therapeutic interventions. However, an explicit definition treatment-resistant anxiety (TR-AD) informing such is currently lacking. We used Delphi method-based consensus approach to provide internationally agreed, consistent clinically useful operational criteria for TR-AD in adults. Following summary the current state knowledge based on international guidelines available systematic review, survey free-text responses 29-item questionnaire relevant aspects TR-AD, online meeting, panel 36 multidisciplinary experts stakeholders voted anonymously written statements three rounds. Consensus was defined as ≥75% agreeing statement. Introduction The prevalence of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) has increased rapidly, highlighting the importance its detection using quick tools applicable to men and women from different countries. Objective To analyze psychometric properties Test (GAD-7) by gender country in Latin America Caribbean (LAC). Method A cross-sectional e-health study with 12,124 participants 15 LAC countries (54.32% women, 45.68% men) was conducted, including Argentina (7.3%), Bolivia (6.7%), Colombia (10.3%), Chile (6.9%), Costa Rica (4.9%), El Salvador (5.7%), Ecuador (7.2%), Guatemala (4.7%), Panama (5.1%), Paraguay Peru (8.6%), Puerto Rico (5.8%), Dominican Republic (6.6%), Uruguay (6.3%), Venezuela (8.2%). All completed GAD-7 scale digitally. Results unidimensional structure confirmed, explaining 70% variance. model fit indices were adequate (RMSEA = 0.062; CFI 0.997; TLI 0.995; SRMR 0.017; p < 0.001), factor loadings for each item satisfactory (> 0.70). Additionally, showed measurement invariance between genders countries, at all levels (configural, metric, scalar, strict), suggesting that measurements are equivalent both contexts. Finally, internal consistency high, a McDonald’s Omega coefficient 0.91. Conclusions exhibits is across demonstrating validity reliability rapid GAD symptoms within region.

Social distribution analyses measure were conducted using linear binomial logistic regression. sample consisted 10,069 adults from all 27 states in Brazil. data obtained four collections across different years COVID-19 pandemic (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), independent samples. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) indicated that is unidimensional with satisfactory fit indices. model was invariant relation to variables investigated at levels (configural, metric, scalar, strict). standardization supported hypothetical cut scores indicating severity depressive symptoms, categorized as very low (0 6), (7 13), moderate (14 19), high (20 23), (≥ 24). Vaso-occlusive crisis (VOC) pain episodes often occur with menses and concurrent hormonal contraceptive use may reduce their frequency. This study tested the hypothesis that among women sickle cell disease (SCD), sex hormones are associated detection thresholds. Women SCD aged minimum 18 years regular menses, without acute illnesses, pregnancy, oophorectomy, or within three months prior were included. Pain thresholds for heat (HPT) pressure (PPT), serum estradiol, progesterone testosterone measured at follicular luteal phases. The Adult Sickle Cell Quality-of-Life Measurement Information System assessed quality-of-life VOC frequency severity scores. Generalized linear mixed models performed, including day of cycle standardized by length. Among 125 participants, neither nor phase menstrual was PPT HPT. In multivariate analyses, worse scores (β = 1.7) severe genotype -46.0) higher lower trapezius PPT, respectively. Older age forearm HPT -0.1). leg measurements, ovulatory cycles -1.1) hydroxyurea -1.2) HPT, while 0.1) Higher estradiol -0.02), an interaction 0.001) predicting earlier in same level.
