Today, pressing environmental concerns such as addressing climate change and countering global warming have taken center stage among policymakers diverse organizations. The 2016 Paris Agreement underscores the urgency of decarbonization criticality reducing CO 2 emissions for fostering sustainable development. Given that policies can yield impacts across short-, medium-, long-term periods, it becomes pivotal to grasp underlying causes ecological footprint by scrutinizing their effects these different timeframes periods. Consequently, our investigation delved into correlation lead/lag interrelationship between footprint, financial globalization, urbanization, eco-innovation, economic growth in China spanning from 1985q1 2022q4. Leveraging on series wavelet tools, study aimed at formulating precise policies. perspective derived analysis indicated a negative urbanization eco-innovation with whereas globalization exhibited positive footprint. we advocate implementation appropriate policy measures ensure Chinese economy charts course toward sustainability.

The dynamic connection between information and communication technology (ICT), institutional quality (IQ), economic growth, energy consumption, trade, ecological footprint (EF) has significant environmental consequences. On the other hand, environmentalists have underinvestigated this domain despite its importance, focusing on unspecified ambiguous findings. As a result, recognizing need for more intensive substantial assertion of complexities involved in studying sustainability, work examines effect abovementioned variables under EKC (Environment Kuznets Curve) framework Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) economies from 1990-2021. This study used second-generation econometric panel techniques. Therefore, analyzed Westerlund cointegration cross-sectional autoregressive distributive lag estimators. outcomes show how IQ ICT protect atmosphere by reducing impact. Moreover, combined slows down pollution. EF is also enlarged usage, development. further back applicability hypothesis MERCOSUR nations. Additionally, conclusions robustness test results performed augmented mean group estimator are similar to main research findings indicate that invention strengthening necessary attain sustainable development aim sustainability.

This study analyzes the determinants of green economic growth in OECD countries, focusing on role technological innovation, clean energy adoption, environmental and political stability. Employing panel data analysis techniques, including Dynamic Seemingly Unrelated Regression (DSUR), Common Correlated Effects Pooled-FM (CUP-FM), Pooled-BC (CUP-BC), examines asymmetric relationships between these factors over both short long run. The findings suggest that innovation significantly influences nations, with positive negative shocks showing distinct impacts consumption, which emphasizes embracing expanding technology to enhance sustainable development minimize damage. Similarly, adoption plays a crucial fostering growth, observed renewable consumption Environmental also positively correlates highlighting significance developing new products services manage challenges. Besides, stability is critical determinant stable environments investor confidence encouraging long-term investments. underlines complex interplay factors, emphasizing bidirectional causality among stability, urbanization. These underscore multifaceted nature pathways, need for integrated policy approaches promote agendas. contributes comprehending driving countries provides insights policymakers practitioners seeking advance sustainability goals. By underlining importance proposes valuable into pathways toward achieving environmentally economically viable growth.
