Cadmium is a heavy metal widely distributed in the environment due to anthropogenic activities, such as industrial processes, mining, and agricultural practices. Exposure cadmium has been associated with various adverse health effects, particularly on kidneys. The kidneys are major target organs for toxicity, tends accumulate renal tissues, leading nephrotoxicity impaired function.This study aims evaluate potential nephroprotective effects of aqueous extract Loranthus micranthus Linn leaf against cadmium-induced kidney toxicity rat model. The current study assessed the metabolite abundance, alpha (α)-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory, antioxidant, antibacterial activity of ethyl acetate extract (EAE) endophytic Penicillium lanosum (PL) radiatolobatum (PR). Consequently, in this investigation, oil derived from Nigella sativa seeds (NSEO) underwent isolation via the hydro-distillation process, followed by comprehensive evaluation its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antibacterial activities, and cytocompatibility. isolated NSEO manifested as pale-yellow substance was found to harbor diverse spectrum bioactive constituents, including steroids, triterpenoids, flavonoids, phenols, proteins, alkaloids, tannin, sesquiterpenoid hydrocarbons, monoterpenoid alcohol, ketone (thymoquinone). Notably, total phenolic content (TPC) flavonoid (TFC) were quantified at 641.23 μg GAE/gm 442.25 QE/g, respectively. Furthermore, exhibited concentration-dependent inhibition protein denaturation, HRBC membrane stabilization, hemolysis inhibition. Comparative analysis revealed that chlorhexidine (CHX) 0.2% displayed substantial compared aspirin. While CHX demonstrated analogous activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, showcased heightened efficacy Lactobacillus acidophilus Candida albicans.
