Cancer cells are known to express the Warburg effect—increased glycolysis and formation of lactic acid even in presence oxygen—as well as high glutamine uptake. In tumors, cancer surrounded by collagen, immune cells, neoangiogenesis. Whether collagen formation, neoangiogenesis, inflammation associated with effect needs be established. Metabolic modelling has proven a tool choice understand biological reality better make silico predictions. Elementary Flux Modes (EFMs) essential for conducting an unbiased decomposition metabolic model into its minimal functional units. EFMs can investigated using our tool, aspefm , innovative approach based on logic programming where constraints incorporated. These allow networks characterized regardless their size. Using human cell containing markers, we derived subset relevance effect. Within this model, analysis provided more adequate results than parsimonious flux balance sampling. Upon further inspection, EFM best linear regression fit lines exometabolomics data was selected. The pathway, presenting effect, synthesis, angiogenesis, release showed that production possible directly de novo from uptake without extracellular import glycine proline, collagen’s main constituents.

Articles focusing on NPC published from 2000 2023 were retrieved Web of Science database. VOSviewer CiteSpace used for visual A total 14516 related publications retrieved. There has been steady increase number NPC-related 2023. China was dominant country this field with 8948 papers (61.64%), followed by USA (2234, 15.39%). Sun Yat-sen University most influential institution, while Ma J prolific author. Furthermore, Head And Neck-journal For The Sciences Specialties Of Neck journal. International Journal Radiation Oncology Biology Physics had highest citation counts. "Introduction chemotherapy", "Concurrent "Epithelial-mesenchymal transition", "Cancer stem cells", "MicroRNAs", "LncRNA", "Exosomes", "Biomarker" common keywords. reference "Chen YP, 2019, Lancet" citations strong outbreak value. past two decades have witnessed significant NPC. optimization treatment mode is widely studied aspect at present. mechanism occurrence development favorable diagnostic therapeutic targets are hotspots future.
