We report the case of an older female patient with squamous cell carcinoma skin, cTXN1M0, who initially presented a mass approximately 4.5 cm in diameter left temporal region, which had tendency to break and bleed. Given patient’s poor general status ECOG score grade 2, it was considered that she could not tolerate systemic chemotherapy. Therefore, we applied drug-eluting beads transarterial chemoembolization combined immune checkpoint inhibitors treat this unexpectedly found regimen resulted complete classified remission partial pathological response without significant adverse events.

: In order to improve the treatment of lung cancer, this paper looks at development cisplatinbased liposomal nanocarriers. It focuses on addressing drawbacks conventional cisplatin therapy, including systemic toxicity, inadequate tumor targeting, and drug resistance. Liposomes, or spherical lipid vesicles, offer a potentially effective way encapsulate cisplatin, enhancing its transport minimizing harmful effects healthy tissues. The article discusses many formulations, pH-sensitive liposomes, sterically stabilized liposomes coupled with specific ligands like EGFR antibodies. These novel formulations show promise in reducing resistance, optimizing pharmacokinetics, boosting therapeutic results two vitro vivo models. They also take advantage enhanced permeability retention (EPR) effect direction improved accumulation. study highlights need for more investigation move these from experimental clinical settings, highlighting their potential less cancer therapy alternatives.

Gynecological cancers are one of the main causes female mortality worldwide. Despite various strategies to reduce and improve quality life, there still many deficiencies in diagnosis treatment gynecological cancers. One important steps ensure optimal cancer is early detection cells use drugs toxicity. Due increase systemic toxicity resistance traditional conventional diagnostic methods, new strategies, including nanotechnology, being used severity disease. Nanoparticles (NPs) provide exciting opportunities Cancers (GCs) diagnosis, particularly initial stages. In biomedical investigations clinical settings, NPs can be sensitivity specificity recognition and/or imaging GCs with help their molecular cellular processes. To design more efficient for or tissues, determining specific biomarkers great importance. NP-based agents another solution trace cells. Abstract Breast cancer is a major global health concern that requires the development of innovative treatment strategies. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), polyphenolic phytocompound found abundantly in green tea, has exhibited potential anti-cancer properties, including anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-angiogenic, and anti-proliferative effects. However, clinical translation EGCG hindered by its poor bioavailability stability. Lipid-based nanocarriers have materialized as an optimistic platform for encapsulating various therapeutics due to their high drug-loading capacity, stability, biocompatibility, versatility. The rationale EGCG-loaded lipid nanoparticles enhance therapeutic efficacy, bioavailability, targeted delivery breast treatment. This minimizes off-target effects enhances accumulation within tumors or diseased tissues controlled sustained manner, reducing systemic toxicity. In addition, co-delivery with synergistic agents can efficacy through complementary mechanisms action, overcome biological barriers, be combined other modalities, i.e., radiation therapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, etc., achieve effectiveness resistance mechanisms. advancement exhibits EGCG-based treatments, challenges administering EGCG, transform therapy biomedical applications. Graphical abstract Understanding role (EGCG) signaling pathways further loaded into lipid-based system improvement mechanical characteristics EGCG.
