How to reduce the damage of COVID-19 pandemic people's mental health is a current research hotspot. The present study examined mediating role trust in government and hope relationship between fear anxiety.In this cross-sectional study, total 1053 Chinese subjects (20.24±3.97 years old, 85.3% female) were investigated by using Fear Scale, Anxiety Trust Government Measure Scale Herth Hope which was conducted an online survey snowball sampling technique. Hayes PROCESS macro for SPSS used test hypothesized effects anxiety.The could positively predict anxiety level (β=0.36, p<0.001). Results mediation analyses demonstrated that (β=-0.16, p<0.001) (β=-0.28, mediated respectively. Moreover, also indirectly through chain-mediated (β=0.28, p<0.001).Our findings shed light on correlation anxiety. This emphasizes value maintaining when individuals face public stress events from both external internal perspectives.

Background: Pre-hospital care providers are the first line of contact when emergencies occur. They at high risk mental health disorders associated with trauma and stress. The magnitude their stress could increase during difficult times such as COVID-19 pandemic. Objectives: This study reports on state well-being degree psychological distress among pre-hospital workers (paramedics, emergency medical technicians, doctors, paramedic interns other healthcare practitioners) pandemic in Saudi Arabia. Methods: was a cross-sectional survey A questionnaire distributed Arabia wave based Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) World Health Organization Well-Being Index (WHO-5). Results: In total, 427 completed questionnaire; 60% respondents had scores more than 30 K10 were likely to have severe disorder. WHO-5 showed similar percentage score 50 coded having poor well-being. Conclusions: findings this provide evidence around for workers. also highlight need better understand quality population appropriate interventions improve life.

Background: The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets from an infected person and contact with tainted surfaces or items. Saudi Arabia imposed a curfew suspended all religious, entertainment, sporting, mass congregations. daily updates on COVID-19 mortality are upsetting further, aggravate depression anxiety. With this background, study was planned following objectives. To determine sociodemographic profile participants, find prevalence psychological morbidity, association between details, associated factors, effects among Abha citizens during pandemic. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional community-based conducted in city population August 2021 July 22. This followed snowball sampling, data collected using online Google form link shared WhatsApp groups emails contacts, asking friends share their friends, until reaching adequate sample size responses were accepted. Results: total 530 participated, age ranged 19 -70 years. Many participants (34.5%, n=183) belonged 36-45 years old. Most responders 69.8% married Females (69.2%, n=367). Half had been quarantined (49.6%), 51.5% scared fear COVID-19. 64.8% depression; 14.2%, 20.8%, 13.6%, 16.2% mild, moderate, severe, extremely severe depression, respectively. Around 58.2% suffered anxiety; 5.8% experienced mild anxiety, 21.7% moderate 30.7% proportion stress 45.0%; 10.8% stress, 9.4% 24.5% stress. Conclusions: poses mental health problems individuals communities. There need more susceptible for issues other disorders.
