In each prefecture, population was classified by gender residence (urban or rural), group equal size. Depressive were diagnosed based Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) scores. ANOVA assess differences mean CES-D scores gender, age, residence, grade, ethnicity. Chi-square tests compare different variables. For comparability, age-standard gender-standard prevalences calculated using 2010 China Census as standard population. Although food labeling on packages is crucial for promoting a healthy diet, limited research has been conducted how the COVID-19 pandemic (hereinafter "the pandemic") affected awareness. Therefore, this study aims to analyze changes in trends awareness, comprehension, and usage South Korea during pandemic. We utilized nationwide, large-scale, long-term dataset provided by Community Health Survey (KCHS) from 2014 2022 (total = 1,756,847 participants). This allowed researchers assess prevalence of usage. Furthermore, we investigated factors associated with awareness specifically related In total, adults (54.19% women) participated study. The upward slope overall became less pronounced even exhibited downward (βdiff - 1.759; 95% CI 1.874 1.644). comprehension more (comprehension: βdiff 0.535; 0.436-0.634; usage: 0.693; 0.601-0.785). vulnerability lower included older age, male, obesity, residing rural areas, household income, educational level, smoking, increased alcohol consumption. analyzed 9-year trend based nationally representative data 2022. Background The COVID-19 pandemic and related lockdowns have impacted lifestyle behaviors, including eating habits physical activity; yet, few studies identified the emerging patterns of such changes associated risk factors. Objective This study aims to identify weight behavior changes, potential factors, resulting from in Canadian adults. Methods Analyses were conducted on 1609 adults (18-89 years old; n=1450, 90.1%, women; n=1316, 81.8%, White) COVIDiet baseline data (May-December 2020). Self-reported current prepandemic weight, activity, smoking status, perceived habits, alcohol intake, sleep quality collected through online questionnaires. Based these 6 indicator variables, latent class analysis (LCA) was used change patterns. Associations with age, gender, ethnicity, education, income, chronic diseases, body image perception, stress level, living situation, work arrangement, examined logistic regressions. Results Participants’ mean BMI 26.1 (SD 6.3) kg/m2. Of participants, 980 (60.9%) had a bachelor’s degree or above. Since pandemic, 563 (35%) decreased income 788 (49%) changed their arrangement. Most participants reported unchanged quality, activity consumption, yet 708 (44%) decrease habit quality. From LCA, 2 classes emerged: healthy less (probability: 0.605 0.395, respectively; Bayesian information criterion [BIC]=15574, entropy=4.8). group more frequently unchanged/improved increased activity. significant gain, deteriorated unchanged/increased intake smoking, Among dissatisfaction (odds ratio [OR] 8.8, 95% CI 5.3-14.7), depression (OR 1.8, 1.3-2.5), level 3.4, 2.0-5.8), gender minority identity 5.5, 1.3-22.3) adopting behaviors adjusted models. Conclusions has appeared influenced unfavorably some but favorably others. Body are factors patterns; whether will sustain over time remains be studied. Findings provide insights into developing strategies for supporting poorer mental well-being postpandemic context promoting healthful during future disease outbreaks.
