Abstract Depression and anxiety are common after months of social isolation, they can have a negative impact on anyone's quality life if not treated promptly appropriately. The aim this study was to determine the change online modality courses presence depression or symptoms during COVID-19 pandemic associated with difference in college student’s academic achievement. This cross-sectional survey which we used Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7). Also, examined students' perceptions their performance using Academic Self-Concept Scale (ASCS). A total 610 students responded survey. average score 2.76 ± 0.35, presented risk 61.5% for possible depressive disorder 52.1% generalized disorder. intensity had significant effect scores ( p < 0.001 0.05, respectively). findings indicate that has direct mental health performance.

Daily life has changed due to COVID-19. This affected nursing education and caused a shift in online learning. study examined the effects of learning on students’ knowledge, self-regulation, flow. We used quasi-experimental design sample comprising 164 senior students. compared pre- post-test scores examine educational effects. Purpose Furthermore, the purpose of this study is to compare student engagement and learning outcomes in offline online PBL aforementioned course. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption various sectors, including education. Since it was first announced mid-March 2020 Indonesia, teaching activities have been carried out online. In study, a comparison (Spring 2019, prior pandemic) 2021, during problem-based (PBL) method sustainable chemical industry course investigated. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative analysis conducted by measuring students’ engagement, course-learning (CLOs) (SLOs). Difference tests score, CLOs SLOs were investigated using t -test or Mann–Whitney U -test. perceived stressors measured. Findings It found that gives similar scores with no significant difference. This possible because structure demands students be actively engaged gaining knowledge, collaboratively working teams interacting other lecturers. The COVID-19 pandemic led many educational institutions to shift online courses, making blended education a significant trend in teaching. We examined the effectiveness of learning an evidence-based medicine course.We compared examination scores group, only and traditional offline group conducted questionnaire survey on students' preferences for different modes reasons their preferences. A total 2100 undergraduate students clinical were included this cross-sectional study. Examination results collected, questionnaires administered study participants. mean exam pass rates three teaching groups using ANOVA c2test multiple comparisons.The group's rate significantly higher than those groups. Furthermore, 71.6% preferred mode. In " effectiveness", majority believed that could better enhance initiative learning, interest course, pertinence content, comprehension medical thinking, basic skills practice. Subsequently, students, foremost reason liking instruction was 'flexible time space' (99%), followed by 'can be viewed repeatedly, facilitating understanding knowledge points' (98%). Their 'helps create good atmosphere' (97%), 'teachers can control status real time' (89%).This explored courses comparing outcomes personal perceptions modes.
