Abstract Worldwide aging population continues to increase, so the concept of healthy longevity medicine has become increasingly significant in modern society. Berberis vulgaris L. fruits serve as a functional food supplement with high concentration bioactive compounds, which offer numerous health-promoting benefits. The goal this study was investigate geroprotective effect extract. Here we show that extract can, depending on concentrate, increase lifespan up 6%, promote healthspan (stress resistance 35%, locomotor activity 25%, integrity intestinal barrier 12%, metabolic rate 5%) Drosophila melanogaster ( vitro ) and exhibits antioxidant (using red blood cell tests) antiglycation glycation bovine serum albumin) ). In addition this, does not exhibit cytotoxic properties , unlike well-known polyphenolic compound quercetin. qRT-PCR revealed involvement metabolic, heat shock response lipid metabolism genes observed effects.

Background: Squalene, in recent years, has become a topic of interest to scientists due its potential health benefits and anti-inflammatory effects. Squalene is hydrocarbon belonging the triterpene class; it 30-carbon isoprenoid compound. In previous studies, amaranth oil, containing high amounts squalene, was shown function as an effective treatment option for reducing proteinuria, one key markers renal disease. Objectives: Our main goal understand effect squalene biotic agent proteinuria. order identify decreasing proteinuria we conducted experimental study on diabetic patients. research focused patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus separate dosages serum consumption. Over course 84 days, tracked changes levels based dosage consumed. addition this, testing also days various related parameters. These parameters include blood urea nitrogen (BUN), cystatin C, albumin, systolic diastolic pressure, transforming growth factor b1 (TGFB1). By assessing throughout study, hoped analyze relationship between these associated parameters. Methods: Five groups 30 people, totaling 150 volunteers, were recruited into study. group 1, healthy people served group. 2, T2DM did not consume any thereby serving control Group 3 consisted who consumed 200 mg (extracted from shark liver) daily. 4 400 Lastly, 5 600 3, 4, 5, prescribed total consecutive days. Among referred Vali-Asr medical laboratory (Tehran, Iran), 120 selected. Also, participated individuals. Regarding World Health Organization, inclusion criteria included following: fasting plasma glucose ≥ 126 mg/dL, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) 6.5%, taking corticosteroids. Informed consent obtained all volunteers. Results: Throughout decreased statistical significance. A positive correlation observed amount, there had been higher level decrease amount administered Statistical significance found well tested (BUN, Albumin (AL), creatinine (CR), TGFbeta1. Conclusion: All indicative alongside count showed trend overall reduction duration values vary time elapsed initial prescription. The objective of this literature review was to evaluate the effectiveness exploring lactobacillus probiotics in weight management: a management. Obesity is defined as accumulation excessive fat, which may result many potential health risks. A body mass index over 30 considered obese, and obesity rates have increased by 400% since 1975. one leading underlying causes issues developed nations, causing problems such cardiovascular disease, stroke, certain cancers. Additionally, also known be heavily associated with type ii diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension), musculoskeletal disorders. To combat connected obesity, diet, exercise are essential. In article, we recommend use probiotics’ biocompound from genus addition diet an intervention for obese individuals. Probiotics facilitate loss increasing microbiome quantity variety, regulating immune responses, improving metabolic rates. An online search conducted following databases: pubmed® functional food center’s journal database. Studies published between January 1, 2010, April 2023, were included. More rcts needed increase certainty evidence verify our conclusions, especially those who conditions that comorbid 2 diabetes.Another major research will reviewing accumulated data perspective definition steps on how create ideal products. Functional foods, products contain bioactive compounds, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, other beneficial substances, crucial promoting preventing diseases. science involves isolating combining compounds ingredients provide targeted benefits. development incorporates multidisciplinary approach science, nutrition, biotechnology, related fields.
