Abstract As a newly identified regulated cell death, ferroptosis is metabolically driven process that relies on iron and associated with polyunsaturated fatty acyl peroxidation, elevated levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), mitochondrial damage. This distinct death dysregulated in various cancers; activating malignant cells increases cancer immunotherapy chemoradiotherapy responses across different malignancies. Over the last decade, accumulating research has provided evidence cross-talk between non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks highlighted their significance developing progressing Aside from pharmaceutical agents to regulate ferroptosis, recent studies have shed light potential restoring ferroptosis-related ceRNA treatment. The present study provides comprehensive up-to-date review significance, pathways, role chemoradiotherapy, biogenesis, ferroptosis-regulating cancers. insights can offer authorship state-of-the-art findings future perspectives regarding implication treatment determining prognosis affected patients.

Avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) is an immunosuppressive neoplastic virus, the growth retardation and performance of chickens after infection. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play a crucial role in various types cancer. In previous study, we showed that circ-Vav3 was significantly elevated tumor livers avian leukosis-infected chickens. Autophagy essential cellular process, circRNAs have been confirmed to be key players autophagy regulation. this demonstrated overexpression inhibited autophagy. Specifically, functions as sponge for gga-miR-375, resulting increased expression CIP2A, which target gene gga-miR-375. turn, hinders fusion autophagosomes with lysosomes, leading incomplete autophagic flux, consequently, inhibition Further study gga-miR-375 inhibits CIP2A promotes by downregulating p-AKT. Additionally, treated cells rapamycin induce then cotransfected them The results cotransfection Moreover, exhibited further ALV-J infection, suggesting involved inhibiting caused infection through regulation gga-miR-375/CIP2A/AKT. conclusion, our gga-miR-375/CIP2A/AKT pathway mediated suppression ALV-J-induced

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent and lethal malignancies globally. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are pivotal in regulating gene expression cancer progression, yet their precise functions within HCC pathways remain elucidated. Objectives: To investigate role ncRNAs key genes involved Hippo signaling to identify potential novel regulatory mechanisms progression. Methods: Gene data from GEO database (GSE14520) were analyzed for changes LEF1, MOB1A, PRKCB, SMARCA2 HCC. Physical interactions between selected (lnc-LRR1-1:1, lnc-LRR1-1:2, hsa_circ_0001380) target mRNAs predicted, using long non-coding RNA-target analysis resource (LncTAR) tool. miRNA was performed competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) mechanisms. qPCR cell lines conducted experimental validation. Results: Significant upregulation LEF1 downregulation PRKCB observed samples. The strongest predicted identified lnc-LRR1-1:2 MOB1A isoforms. suggested that studied could act as ceRNAs. confirmed hsa_circ_0001380 slight lnc-LRR1-1:1,2 lines. Conclusions: This study unveils a complex network, where can modulate interactions, particularly hsa-miR-193b-3p suggest These findings provide new insights into pathogenesis avenues future research targeted therapies.

Cancer is a complex and highly lethal disease marked by unchecked cell proliferation, aggressive behavior, strong tendency to metastasize. Despite significant advancements in cancer diagnosis treatment, challenges such as early detection difficulties, drug resistance, adverse effects of radiotherapy or chemotherapy continue threaten patient survival. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have emerged critical regulators biology, with miR-506 being extensively studied recognized for its tumor-suppressive across multiple types. This review examines the regulatory mechanisms common cancers, focusing on role competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network apoptosis, migration. We also discuss potential therapeutic target overcoming resistance treatment. Overall, these insights underscore promise developing novel therapies.
