The human gastrointestinal tract hosts a complex and dynamic community of microorganisms known as the gut microbiota, which play pivotal role in numerous physiological processes, including digestion, metabolism, immune function. Recent research has highlighted significant impact diet on microbiota composition functionality, consequential effects host health. Concurrently, there is growing evidence linking to inflammation, key factor many chronic diseases such inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular (CVDs). This review explores how dietary components influence composition, these microbial changes affect pathways, therapeutic implications modulating this axis for prevention management. Beneficial patterns, Mediterranean (MD) plant-based diets, promote diverse balanced supporting anti-inflammatory pathways. Conversely, Western (WD), high saturated fats refined sugars, associated with dysbiosis increased inflammation. With all links between three variables considered, attempts offer thorough examination triangle formed by food.

Nutrition is one of the most influential environmental factors in both taxonomical shifts gut microbiota as well development type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Emerging evidence has shown that effects nutrition on these parameters not mutually exclusive and changes related metabolites such short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) branched-chain amino (BCAAs) may influence systemic inflammation signaling pathways contribute to pathophysiological processes associated with T2DM. With this background, our review highlights macronutrients, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, T2DM, specifically through their alterations they produce. Additionally, we describe influences common food groups, which incorporate varying combinations macronutrients metabolic context mellitus. Overall, first line modifiable therapies management T2DM a better understanding mechanisms by its pathophysiology provides opportunities for optimizing dietary interventions.

Intestine is responsible for nutrients absorption and plays a key role in defending against various dietary allergens, antigens, toxins, pathogens. Accumulating evidence reported critical of intestine maintaining animal human health. Since the use antibiotics as growth promoters feed has been restricted many countries, alternatives to have globally investigated, polysaccharides are considered environmentally friendly promising improve intestinal health, which become research hotspot due its antibiotic substitution effect. Astragalus polysaccharide (APS), biological macromolecule, extracted from astragalus exhibit complex activities involved barrier integrity maintenance, microbiota regulation, short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) production, immune response The activity APS related chemical structure. In this review, we outlined source structure APS, highlighted recent findings on regulation physical barrier, biochemical immunological well latest progress an substitute production. The gut microbiota, a complex ecosystem of microorganisms in the human gastrointestinal tract (GI), plays crucial role maintaining metabolic health and influencing disease susceptibility. Dysbiosis, or an imbalance has been linked to development type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) through mechanisms such as reduced glucose tolerance increased insulin resistance. A balanced eubiosis, is associated with improved metabolism sensitivity, potentially reducing risk diabetes-related complications. Various strategies, including use prebiotics like inulin, fructooligosaccharides, galactooligosaccharides, resistant starch, pectic oligosaccharides, polyphenols, β-glucan, Dendrobium officinale have shown improve microbial composition support glycemic control T2DM patients. These can directly impact blood sugar levels while promoting growth beneficial bacteria, thus enhancing control. Studies that patients often exhibit decrease butyrate-producing Roseburia Faecalibacterium, increase harmful Escherichia Prevotella. This review aims explore effects different on T2DM, their microbiota composition, potential for personalized dietary interventions optimize management overall outcomes.

Metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) is associated with metabolic reprogramming of and gut microbiota. Previous studies have shown that Echinocystic acid (EA), a natural turpenoid, improves obesity caused by high-fat diet (HFD). This study aimed to investigate the mechanism EA on MAFLD. In this study, histopathological biochemical analyses, metabolomic, 16S rDNA gene sequencing, transcriptomic analysis molecular docking were performed explore underlying mechanism. Liver dysfunction induced HFD was observed, expression genes involved in fibrosis lipid metabolism also altered. Microbiomic revealed altered composition colonic bile (BA). Transcriptome treatment downregulated Fgfr4 Fgf21 upregulated Cyp7a1 Cyp7b1, related BA metabolism. Moreover, decreased microbial abundance; further implied Blautia, Allobaculum, Lactobacillus The results binding sites FGFR4 are consistent those inhibitor FGFR4. Our suggest MAFLD regulating
