The cervical cancer screening has been based conventionally on cytologic analysis. With advances in understanding the role of human papillomavirus, cotesting applied. But most patients subjected to colposcopy did not benefit, except cases with HSIL [high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion] cytology. Because this, a step increase sensitivity detect cancers and pre-cancers but higher specificity minimal overdiagnosis leading prevention unindicated biopsies is highly desired. Such triaging abnormal results expected minimize invasive interventions because low false positivity. availability methodologies quantitatively qualitatively enhanced cell-blocks from residual liquid cytology specimens, immunostaining can be performed for multiple immunomarkers potential objectivity triage initial test results. Recently, microRNAs (miR) were identified to have potential links with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and oropharyngeal (OPSCC) oncogenesis, specifically miR-21. Since HPV is a major risk factor for the development of these diseases, we aimed search literature regarding miR-21 expression in both HPV-positive HPV-negative OSCC/OPSCC. The was performed PubMed (MEDLINE), Scopus, Web Science, Cochrane electronic databases. research question as follows: Is there difference tissue between patients those OSCC/OPSCC? After conducting meticulous strategy, four studies included, they had pooled sample size 621 subjects OSCC and/or OPSCC. Three did not find any significant findings this systematic review showed that are no differences Nevertheless, it worth noting still insufficient important subject, because understanding how influences its downstream effects can provide insights into molecular mechanisms underlying OSCC/OPSCC progression.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is a major etiologic factor in cervical cancer, cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality among women worldwide. The role microRNA (miRNA) dysregulation carcinogenesis still largely unknown, but epigenetic changes, including DNA methylation miRNA regulation, are crucial factors. integration HPV into the host genome can lead to alterations patterns expression, contributing progression from normal epithelium intraepithelial neoplasia and, ultimately, cancer. This review aimed examine relationship between changes development associated with A systematic literature search was conducted databases using predefined inclusion exclusion criteria. Cervical cancer (CC) is a global threat to women and our knowledge frighteningly little about its underlying genomic contributors. Our research aimed understand the molecular genetic mechanisms of CC by integrating bioinformatics network-based study. Transcriptomic analyses three microarray datasets identified 218 common differentially expressed genes (DEGs) within control samples specimens. KEGG pathway analysis revealed pathways in cell cycle, drug metabolism, DNA replication significant GO terms were cornification, proteolysis, division replication. Protein–protein interaction (PPI) network 20 hub survival validated CDC45, MCM2, PCNA TOP2A as biomarkers. Subsequently, 10 transcriptional factors (TFs) post-transcriptional regulators detected through TFs-DEGs miRNAs-DEGs regulatory assessment. Finally, biomarkers subjected drug-gene relationship find best target inhibitors. Standard cheminformatics method including silico ADMET docking study substantiated PD0325901 Selumetinib most potent candidate-drug for treatment. Due to long period latency in CC, patients are already middle late stages when initially diagnosed, which greatly reduces clinical cure rate quality survival, thus resulting poor outcomes. In recent years, continuous exploration fields bioinformatics molecules, it has been found that ncRNAs, including miRNAs lncRNAs, without ability translate proteins capable activating or inhibiting certain signaling pathways by targeting modulating level expression involved these pathways. ncRNAs play important roles assisting diagnosis, drug administration, prediction prognosis during CC progression. The human papillomavirus (HPV) infection may affect the miRNA expression pattern during cervical cancer (CC) development. To demonstrate association between high-risk HPVs and development of cervix dysplasia, we examined patterns hsa-miR-194-5p hsa-miR-195-5p in Pap smear samples from southeast Iranian women. We compared that were HPV-positive but showed no abnormality cytological examination to had severe dysplasia.
