Natural deep eutectic solvents (NaDES) represent a new generation of green, non-flammable solvents, useful as an efficient alternative to the well-known ionic liquids. They can be easily prepared and exhibit unexpected solubilizing power for lipophilic molecules, although those hydrophilic nature are mostly used. For their unique properties, they recommend different cosmetic pharmaceutical applications, ranging from sustainable extraction, obtaining ready-to-use ingredients, development biocompatible drug delivery responsive systems. In biomedical field, NaDES used biopolymer modifiers, acting compounds also known “therapeutic systems”, being able solubilize stabilize chemical galenical formulations. The aim this review is give overview current knowledge regarding natural specifically applied in fields. work could help disclose opportunities challenges implementation not only green but potential pathways deliver bioactive ingredients innovative

To develop an environmentally sustainable and efficient extraction method for flavonoids from Moringa oleifera Lam. (M. oleifera) leaves, natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) with ultrasound-assisted was utilized in this study. After optimization of parameters NADES, including ultrasonic power, time, liquid–solid ratio, the yield NADES (UAN) composed betaine urea (Bet-Urea) reached 54.69 ± 0.19 mg RE/g DW, which made a 1.7-fold increase compared to traditional solvent (UATS). UPLC-Q Exactive/MS analysis revealed that M. leaves (MOLF) mainly Quercetin 3-β-D-glucoside, Rutin, Kaempferol-3-O-glucoside, Vitexin Quercetin. Furthermore, COSMO-RS model employed verify optimal compatibility solubility activity coefficient between Bet-Urea five primary MOLF. In vitro antioxidant assays verified MOLF extracted by UAN exhibited superior UATS. Overall, devised process not only augmented but also effectively preserved bioactive compounds, thus promoting utilization green food industry.

Abstract Gallic acid is a widely recognized bioactive compound that falls under the category of secondary polyphenolic metabolites and fairly found in mango fruit waste, specifically seed kernel (MSK). This study aimed to adopt green extraction approach extract this valuable via ultrasound‐assisted (UAE) without using organic solvents but only water obtain hazard‐free extracts, cost can be minimal. pH (2–8), solvent ratio (20–60 mL/g), temperature (30–60°C) time (30–60 min) were independent variables used for optimization. Single‐factor experiments working ranges selected carried out. A central composite design response surface methodology was determine optimum condition maximum yield gallic from MSK. The optimized conditions 3.9 pH, 36.25 mL/g ratio, 39.4°C 21.3 min. As result, 5.76 ± 0.41 mg/g, which comparably equal and/or better than other systems. results showed could efficiently extracted UAE these optimal conditions. It safer systems involving hazardous feasibly its nutraceutical therapeutic applications.
