Endometrial cancer (EC) is the most common malignant tumor in post-menopausal women, and lung one of organs to which endometrial adenocarcinoma metastasizes. Chemotherapy helpful for various malignancies, but not all are successful. A 71-year-old-Japanese-woman was diagnosed with metastatic stage IV primary adenocarcinoma. She received chemotherapy hormone therapy after a total hysterectomy pelvic lymphadenectomy. Subsequently, she visited this clinic second opinion as had repeated remissions recurrences. Here, authors report case complete remission achieved by using product containing low molecular weight fucoidan extract (LMF) Canavalia gladiata (CG) (LMF-CG) combination Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) therapy.

Exploration of Targeted Anti-tumor Therapy, Journal Year: 2025, Volume and Issue: 6

Published: Jan. 3, 2025

Cancer is the greatest cause of mortality worldwide. Various drug classes treat various cancers. Nanoformulations made from natural sources are being studied for treating several diseases, including cancer. Surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation have mostly failed to These drugs may damage quickly dividing healthy tissues, structural anomalies, bodily toxicity, long-term side effects, tumor cell resistance, psychiatric disturbances. Researchers developing nanoscale medicines using medications like Malva sylvestris Curcumin lower concentrations improve target specificity. Nanoparticles' small size unique properties make them beneficial. They encapsulate medicinal ingredients, improving solubility, medication release, cellular absorption, delivery. Nanoparticles better identify bind cancer cells when functionalized with ligands. Natural chemicals nanotechnology availability, distribution, targeting cells, making treatments more effective safe. Nanomedicine, which employs nanoparticles malignant has grown rapidly because nanodrugs fewer effects than current commercial drugs. Nanotechnology-based pharmaceutical delivery methods therapy covered in this review article. The paper discusses nanoparticle pros cons chemicals' cancer-fighting appeal.

In recent years, interest in natural products such as alternative sources of pharmaceuticals for numerous chronic diseases, including tumors, has been renewed. Propolis, a product collected by honeybees, and polyphenolic/flavonoid propolis-related components modulate all steps the cancer progression process. Anticancer activity propolis its compounds relies on various mechanisms: cell-cycle arrest attenuation cells proliferation, reduction number stem cells, induction apoptosis, modulation oncogene signaling pathways, inhibition matrix metalloproteinases, prevention metastasis, anti-angiogenesis, anti-inflammatory effects accompanied tumor microenvironment (by modifying macrophage activation polarization), epigenetic regulation, antiviral bactericidal activities, gut microbiota, chemotherapy-induced deleterious side effects. Ingredients from also ”sensitize“ to chemotherapeutic agents, likely blocking transcription factor nuclear kappa-light-chain-enhancer activated B (NF-κB). this review, we summarize current knowledge related flavonoids other polyphenolic growth metastasizing ability, discuss possible molecular cellular mechanisms involved inflammatory pathways processes that affect survival, invasion, angiogenesis, metastasis tumor.

Dihydromyricetin (DHM) is an important natural flavonoid that has attracted much attention because of its various functions such as protecting the cardiovascular system and liver, treating cancer neurodegenerative diseases, anti-inflammation effect, etc. Despite great development potential in pharmacy, DHM some problems pharmaceutical applications low solubility, permeability, stability. To settle these issues, extensive research been carried out on physicochemical properties dosage forms to produce all kinds preparations past ten years. In addition, combined use with other drugs a promising strategy expand application DHM. However, although invention patents for have issued several countries, current transformation results into market products insufficient. date, there still lack deep pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, action mechanism preparations. Besides, therapy are scarcely reported, which necessitates this application. Apart from medicine, food industry also potential. Due multiple effects excellent safety, can be developed functional drinks foods. Through review, we hope draw more above challenges provide valuable references similar structure-activity relationship drug.

Background Childhood is a critical developmental stage, especially for children with special educational needs (SEN), as it can profoundly affect their development and future well-being. Purpose To assess the state of research on inclusive education SEN over last 10 years, 1,024 documents from Web Science (WoS) core collection were analyzed. Methods Using CiteSpace, comprehensive analysis included an overview field, keyword distribution, foci, emerging trends. Results conclusions This study identified that in primarily concentrates education, psychology, SEN. Furthermore, must involve sociology, medicine, rehabilitation, public policy law, neuroscience, family studies. Primary questions should address effectiveness learning outcomes SEN, social emotional development, support participation practice, professional training teachers. We expect will become more multidimensional comprehensive. The focus shift toward comparative studies history peers. Methodologically, integration quantitative qualitative approaches essential. From perspective, stronger emphasis be cross-national Moreover, interdisciplinary collaboration increased to enrich theoretical knowledge system children, thereby providing robust evidence base practices.
