Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a pathogen known to cause number of malignancies, often taking years for them develop after primary infection. EBV-associated gastric cancer (EBVaGC) one such malignancy, and an immunologically, molecularly pathologically distinct entity from EBV-negative (EBVnGC). In comparison with EBVnGCs, EBVaGCs overexpress immune regulatory genes help form immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME), have improved prognosis, overall “immune-hot” phenotype. This review provides overview the histopathology, clinical features outcomes EBVaGCs. We also summarize differences between TMEs which includes significant in cell composition infiltration. A list available EBVaGC EBVnGC gene expression datasets computational tools are provided within this review. Finally, various chemo- immuno-therapeutics treating cancers (GCs), focus on

Liver cancer is one of the most lethal gastrointestinal malignancies. Emerging evidence has underscored pivotal role long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in tumorigenesis, with ST8SIA6-AS1 identified as a novel oncogenic lncRNA contributing to liver progression. consistently upregulated hepatic tissues and strongly associated unfavorable prognosis. Early and accurate diagnosis of gastric cancer (GC) is essential for reducing mortality improving patient well-being. However, methods the early GC are still lacking. In this study, by isobaric tagging relative absolute quantitation (iTRAQ), we identified 336 proteins that overlapped among upregulated differentially expressed (DEPs) in (EGC) versus progressive (PGC), DEPs EGC nongastric (NGC), nonsignificant NGC. These were involved primarily neutrophil-related immune response. Network analysis pathways revealed fibrinogen α (FGA), β (FGB), γ (FGG) candidates distinguishing EGC. Furthermore, parallel reaction monitoring (PRM), immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western blot (WB) assays clinical samples confirmed that, compared with PGC NGC, only FGG was uniquely significantly mucosa Our results demonstrated could be a novel biomarker to diagnose patients via endoscopy.
